Terry Long asked Robin for help. Donna wouldn't
marry him until she'd uncovered her past. He wanted
the Teen Wonder to help her out. The three got together
and went through her memories. She remembered being
a victim of an apartment fire, and being rescued
by Wonder Woman. Since there was no record of her
parents (the landlord said the apartment was not
rented), Wonder Woman was appointed the girl's legal
guardian, and Donna was taken to Paradise Island
and raised by Hypolyte. Using their purple ray,
the Amazons gave the girl their own powers.
At the ruins of the apartment building (which had
been rebuilt, but was being torn down again), Robin
found a doll. Wonder Girl felt a familiarity to
it. The doll led him to a toy repairman, which led
to an old orphanage. He tracked down the woman who'd
run the orphanage and called Donna to meet him.
They found the woman in a retirement home. She had
answers: Donna's (which was her real name) mother
gave her up for adoption - she had terminal cancer.
A couple named Stacey adopted her. Donna and Dick
drove to the town where they'd live and found Fay
Evans (remarried widow of Carl Stacey) at a house
she remembered. After her husband died, a lawyer
took Donna from her and placed her in an abuse home.
As Donna relived the past with her first adoptive
mother, Dick (as Robin) went to find answers about
the second set of adoptive parents. The orphanage
had been shut down due to illegally selling children.
The lawyer's go-betweens had been the ones that
died in the fire.
Dick and Donna visited her birth mother's grave.
He called Kory.

The Teen Titans attacked an Alaskan compound and
were captured by Brother Blood's cult. They escaped
and turned in enough evidence to get a few elected
officials out of office. Tara reported to Deathstroke
the Terminator. After a workout, she returned to
her team.
The Titans held a meeting. Kid Flash announced he
was quitting the group. Dick announced he would
no longer be Robin, the junior half of Batman and
... .
Deathstroke watched the whole thing through a camera
in Terra's costume.

After a tutoring session, Gar and Tara headed to
a TV studio where the Titans were being interviewed
along with senators and Brother Blood (via satellite).
Blood's charisma flowed through the audience.
Dick, posing as a tv reporter, interviewed the senators
voted out of office for having ties to Blood. Strangely,
none of them actually did have ties to Blood. He
planned to take them and Bethany Snow (another reporter)
on a fact-finding mission to Zandia.
They arrived and began a tour of Blood's church.
The Titans gathered and headed out when they received
a distress beacon from Dick. They broke into the
stronghold and were immediately captured. Blood
showed them their leader - under his mind control.

Terra was able to break the Titans free of Brother
Blood's trap. Knowing the Titans would win, Blood
sent his "pets" after them. After defeating
them, Raven convinced the team to lay low. Blood
sent mechanical toys after them, and the Titans
easily defeated them. He appeared to them - in
front of his congregation - and took them all
down.
Blood placed the Titans in a death trap and ordered
Dick to kill them. Kory's love broke through to
him and he smashed the control panel. The Titans
took Brother Blood as Zandia's army attacked the
church. Raven's soul self saved the Titans from
the attack, but it appeared Brother Blood turned
into a martyr.

The Titans (out of costume) met Donna and Kory
at the photography studio. They headed back
to Donna's apartment and worked on the wedding
plans. Tara and Gar walked Dick home then met
up with Vic, who was out with Sarah and the
kids she worked with. He stressed about his
grandparents coming in for a visit.
Gar and Tara kissed before they headed back
to the tower. The next day, the Titans worked
out. Terra sized them up and continued sending
Slade Wilson information about them. Tara and
Gar sparred. When he got the best of her, she
flipped out. They had to be separated by the
rest of the team.
Later, Tara met up with Slade to work out their
plan.

Deathstroke attacked Dick Grayson in his home.
While wondering how he could know his civilian
identity, Dick escaped. A woman and her son
watched from a nearby car. They knew both
players.
Dick went looking for the rest of the team.
Kory, Donna, and Vic had already been taken.
Inside Titans Tower, Dick found evidence that
Terra had been in a struggle. He was approached
by the woman and boy who'd been watching.
She introduced herself as Adeline and her
son Joseph. She told him that Terra was working
for Deathstroke and had captured Raven. Dick
called Dayton estates - Gar was missing.
Adeline told Dick she was Wilson's ex-wife.
Deathstroke prepared to hand the Titans off
to the HIVE.

| storyline |
After telling Dick her son was mute, she told
him the Terminator's origin. She'd been his
special-ops trainer in the army. Six months
after he graduated, they were married. Their
first son, Grant (who would become the Ravager),
was born after Slade was shipped off to war.
While overseas, Wilson took an experimental
drug for resisting truth serums. He was hospitalized.
Wintergreen, his faithful family friend, told
Adeline. His combat career was over. He recovered,
but his physical state was unstable - he was
sometimes comatose, sometimes super-human.
Adeline became pregnant again. Joseph was
born a week before Slade heard Wintergreen
had been captured. The army discharged him
for butting in, but Wilson saved his friend.
Slade took up hunting and mastered it. While
his wife thought he was on a safari, their
home was attacked. Joseph was kidnapped (Grant
was at boarding school). When Slade got home,
he revealed to her that his superpowers had
never left him - he was a master assassin.
Deathstroke saved his son, but his throat
had been cut. They got him to a hospital and
he survived.
Weeks later, Deathstroke returned home. Adeline
shot him in the head. He lived, but lost an
eye.
Dick realized it was time to get back in costume.
Using a name from a Kryptonian legend, he emerged
as Nightwing. His named and dress were derived from
Superman and Batman. Joseph was also in costume
as "Jericho." He had mutant powers (he
was conceived after Slade had gained his power)
that would allow him to take over other people.
After a brief demonstration, Nightwing and Jericho
left together in the Titans' jet.

The Titans awakened on a device the HIVE called
the enervator. It absorbed their powers. Raven,
who could not be controlled, was kept unconscious.
Deathstroke introduced them to his helper, Tara.
Somewhere in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, Nightwing
and Jericho found the HIVE hq.
The HIVE demanded Kid Flash and Robin. Deathstroke
informed them Flash was no longer in the hero business,
and called Wintergreen to see if he'd been able
to gather any intel on Robin. Wintergreen replied
in the negative - he was being held captive by Adeline.
He told her how Slade had rescued him from captivity
during a war.
Nightwing and Jericho got into HIVE's stronghold
using the mutant's powers. Once inside, they took
down some goons and disguised themselves as HIVE
members. They were called to a gathering and told
plans were on hold. Jericho and Nightwing began
their attack. After taking down the group, they
ran into Terra. She knocked them both out and delivered
them to the HIVE. Deathstroke was taken aback when
he learned she'd not only grabbed Robin, but also
his son. He demanded the HIVE release the boy to
him. Jericho was able to possess his father. In
Slade's body, Jericho blasted the device holding
the Titans. They attacked.
Terra, believing Deathstroke had betrayed her, went
after the mercenary. Changeling refused to realize
she was not on their side and went to her aide.
She attacked him. Soon after, she went completely
insane and caused eruptions throughout the area.
Deathstroke was captured; Logan found Terra's body.
She was buried a hero - she died fighting Wilson.
Batman, Robin (Jason), and the Outsiders all attended
her funeral with the Titans.

Dayton
Labs in Nevada lost some of its AI creations
- not quite life, but not quite cybernetics.
The Teen Titans went after these super-powered
pseudo beings. They did battle, but when
the Titans realized how close to human
they were, they all stopped. Back at Dayton
Labs, they were briefed on the situation.
The "recombatants" were prototypes
of a super-solier they were trying to
build.
The Recombatants escaped and destroyed
the machinery which had created them.
They were "killed" during the
meltdown, but made sure no more of them
would be created.
Gar and Jillian checked out the area where
the Donna / Terry wedding would take place.
Gar's adoptive father appeared and verbally
slammed him.

The
wedding preparations continued, as the
players got fitted for their outfits.
One of Donna's friends tried to contact
Wally, but his father told her he'd moved
to Central City. Wally and Frances were
getting used to their new city when Dr.
Light struck. Fran was able to single-handedly
stop Light and having him waiting for
the cops to arrive. After, they met the
Flash. He ran some tests on Wally and
realized the problem was that he'd been
turned into a Flash while still growing,
as he (Barry Allen) had been an adult
when he received his powers.
Wally got the message and called Donna
to say he'd be there.
