left in human form - it was nesting. All the "Drury
Walker" sightings had been its offspring. |

parents returned, and he mysteriously died a few days later. She
promised Tim she'd go home and face her mother, but she checked

The captors sent
the boy (willingly) over a cliff on a motorcycle so they could
video tape it and send it in to one of those TV shows. Since he
wasn't in the presence of his sister, she could regenerate him
and he died in the crash. The trucker arrived and realized Gary
the hitchhiker was Robin (he'd forgotten to take off his wig),
who he'd tangled with once before in Gotham City. Gary, or
Spectacular Sunbird, and Kenny put their differences behind them
and headed back tot he wrestling barn after hearing that they
were under attack over his CB radio. When they got there, they
witnessed a huge pink blob eating people. |

anonymous gift. He called Batman and asked him to check it out.

While rooftopping,
Tim's gift activated and played. It was a recorded message from
Alfred in the year 2012. Gotham City was at war. The
"capes" had declared the city their own and were
fighting military and police forces. The recording stopped short
of him telling Tim who the culprit was, only that it was someone
in the (Bat) family. Robin watched Alfred get killed in the
recording. After shaking the visions off, he met with Batman and
captured the man who delivered the package to his home. As
future Alfred had said, the man - Yak Black - remembered nothing
of the past few days. Robin didn't tell Batman about the message
and began hypothesizing about its origin. |

Believing he was
being followed by Jaeger, Robin attacked Nightwing, who was
merely trying to catch up to his partner. He told Nightwing he
suspected Jaeger was following him, so they faked a fight and
split up to bait him. It failed. Robin met with a recently fired
Wayne employee who'd made a deal with the Feds. He was working
for Jaeger on "monster snuff" films. When Tim got
home, he had an email from Batman. He sent him audio recorded
with special equipment from Yak's brain. It was the voice of
future Alfred telling him how to create the device. Robin went
to the cave to question Yak further. |
