storyline A petting zoo was vandalized, its animals killed. Oracle identified the culprit as a Jokerized and still at large Tezcatlipoca - self appointed Aztec Jaguar God. Robin and Blue Beetle got him and his friend, Panara, and sent them back to the Slab.

storyline With a movie premier in Gotham City, Robin met a new guy who called himself Joe Hollywood. He was a bodyguard for one of the big stars, Normandy Shields, who'd acquired a stalker. Oracle found out she'd been baiting the stalker for publicity. Robin took him down when he attacked her hotel room.

Tim saw Alfred away. Spoiler tried to get into the cave, but found she was locked out (along with Batgirl). One of Tim's friends, Kip, and his computer were taken at gunpoint from their dorm. Jack Drake's financial advisor met with him - his stocks had taken a dive. Drake was broke.

Tim got back to his dorm after attempting to chase down Kip's kidnappers. There, he found they'd taken the wrong computer. On Kip's machine, he found that he was into online gambling and had won quite a bit at it. He got some information on the websites from the Clocktower as Oracle and Black Canary checked out a tap - with Alfred's help, they marked J. Devlin Davenport off their suspect list. Robin and Spoiler rescued Kip. Tim's dad told him about their financial woes.

storyline Tim thought of all the money Bruce had put into his crusade when his father told him they were broke. Robin talked with Spoiler about his situation and left to tell his friends at Brentwood goodbye. Alfred was able to buy Tim's car, giving the Drakes $50,000 due to its collectablity (being formerly Bruce Wayne's). The Drakes said goodbye to their long-time maid, Ms. McIlvaine. Robin suited up and went on patrol. Batman bumped into him and chloroformed him while he took down his target.

storyline Robin woke up from Batman's attack. Stephanie visited his new permanent home in the city looking for him. Tim wandered into an "underground" performance art nook. Spoiler was there checking it out and saw him talk to another girl and his "liftboy" (his building's elevator operator). He daydreamed that he was a normal kid and Stephanie was Robin.

storyline After the intoxicating performance finished, Spoiler followed the singer. She stopped an attacker, but the woman refused to give her name. Tim and Stephanie spoke on the phone - she was still suffering from a cold. Tim found out the performer was a side realist from a magazine ad.

storyline With Robin closing in, Natalia bumped into Dylan Prescott - the man who'd attacked her a few nights before. He grabbed her and locked her in a subway restroom with him. Robin and Spoiler got Natalia free, but Prescott fled and was killed by an electronic jolt from a subway car. They had S.T.A.R. Labs pick her up and investigate her "gland" problem, which caused people nearby to lose inhibitions.

storyline Batman met Robin and they went on patrol for the first time since the death of Vesper Fairchild. While talking, they spotted a mob informant under federal protection out with a strange man. They got spooked and fled. The Batmobile followed. When they found the car abandoned, they looked for them on foot. They stole the Batmobile. Robin was able to stop it, but the mysterious abductor / driver escaped.

storyline Tim bumped into his old friend, Ives, while taking the 10th grade equivalency exam. Later, he spoke with Stephanie - the Birds of Prey and Batman wanted her to stop being Spoiler. That night, Robin investigated some possible homeless murders. Tim and Ives hit the town, and became victims of an attempted car-jacking. He was unable to get in touch with Stephanie that night.
