storyline One of Robin's fellow students learned all she could and left. Lady Shiva arrived for her. She defeated the master as she'd defeated his brother (Tim's former teacher) when he wouldn't give her the student's name. Robin chased Dava down to her home in Transbelvia - a nation wrecked with civil war. Sir Edmond "Kingsnake" Dorrance was there helping the war effort. Robin found Dava and went with her in order to protect her from Shiva. Jack Drake talked to Bruce Wayne about Tim; Spoiler confronted Batman about Robin's absence.

storyline Robin and Dava went in after her target. When they were surrounded by his troops, she kissed him - drugging him with what gave her near-super speed. They defeated the entire battalion of troops. Shiva arrived to face Dava. Robin attacked and defeated her. Kingsnake and his men arrived.

Robin gave Shiva CPR as Dava attacked Dorrance and his men. Shiva was revived by the drug still in Robin's system. Dava was shot in the melee; Shiva went berserk on Dorrance's people. Robin got Dava to her people and left her there. From his flight home, Tim called his father. When he awakened to the news they were being diverted to Bludhaven, he saw Gotham City on fire.

Robin rescued "Hardback" Bock. Together, they took down Quakemaster - Arnold Wesker's newest puppet. Nightwing saved Gordon and Mayor Grange while Batman continued helping survivors.

storyline Robin checked on Ariana, who's family had been relocated to a shelter inside a local school. He found Stephanie Brown also there; she made him promise to get her Spoiler outfit from her home. There, Robin ran into her father the Cluemaster. After a bit of a chase, Robin escaped and Cluemaster was caught by the National Guard. Tim and Ariana patched things up.

storyline Robin and Spoiler had their first date at a dress-up sci-fi movie marathon. With four of his new men behind bars, another of Cluemaster's men went in and killed them before they could talk. One survived and fingered Cluemaster. A week later, Stephanie told Robin she was pregnant.

storyline Stephanie told Robin the father left town after the earthquake. Some of Tim's friends told him about a monster they saw. Stephanie and her mother visited a counselor and an adoption agency. Steeljacket, without his body armor, captured Ives and Hudson when they tried to videotape him to show Tim.
