| Storyline |
Dick and Wally drove to New
Orleans on their annual vacation. After arriving, it didn't take them long
to get into costume - they heard screams and went to investigate. They
found two costumed girls (it was Halloween) and realized it was a false
alarm. The checked out a house originally built by famed madman L.P.
Gregory. He'd been found mysteriously dead four days before. Inside, they
heard a familiar scream and split up to investigate. Flash found the girls
they'd met earlier and a dead body - killed in the same manner as Gregory.
While trying to get back to Nightwing, he realized that every door opened
into (literally) another city. He was convinced aliens were involved. He
caught up with his partner, who'd found blueprints of the house in the
library.
Gregory's friend, the caretaker of his estate, confirmed the Flash's fear
- he was an alien and they were invading. The house was designed as a
spawning point for them. As they began to appear, Nightwing fought them
off while Flash destroyed both their spawning points and the rest of the
house. They were successful destroying it and stopping the invasion. |
