| Storyline |
A hooker
(actually, an undercover cop) was found dead in a hotel room rented by
alleged gunrunner Frankie Black. Nightwing went up against his gang and
took them all down. He later found Huntress and told her that Black was
innocent - he watched him all night. They went to the crime scene
together. They realized that it wasn't a mafia hit, and went after Black's
second-in-command, Pasquale. Pasquale verified that Black didn't do it,
and also that Black was working for Malfatti. Malfatti broke Black out of
jail. Huntress and Nightwing realized they'd been working alone too long
and ended up kissing. The kiss didn't exactly end. Dick woke up in
Helena's apartment and contacted Oracle. Pasquale turned himself in for
the murder, though he was innocent. Nightwing learned from the hooker
who's place she took that the undercover cop went into the building with a
uniformed cop. Nightwing let the Bullock and her partner know. They
started asking questions inside the precinct and found their framer - a
rookie cop who was first on the scene. He escaped after Pasquale. While he
looked through one window and Nightwing and Huntress through another,
Frankie Black shot and killed his girlfriend so no one else would have
control of him. He then walked out and turned himself in. He ratted on
Malfatti and they were both sentenced. |
