After saving a

background, some martial arts training, and her vengeance to
become the Huntress. |

fingers, only to lose it later to one of the gangs. Omerta
ambushed the gang and regained it. |

The Bertinelli
lawyer convinced Helena that her father was alive. Once she
arrived, she realized that it was only a rigged puppet with
recordings of her father. Omerta attacked her. Helena escaped
and forced her bodyguard, Tony Angelo (who played a major part
in training her), to tell her everything he knew. He stayed with
her because he knew the same man that had abused his sister had
kidnapped Helena as a child. Helena fired Tony. Omerta (actually
her father's lawyer) captured her. |

Helena learned
quickly why her father was mutilated - his vast underground safe
had been found. It required a retina scan (his eyes),
fingerprint scan (his hand), and blood sample (Helena) to open.
Omerta's employer shot and killed him; Helena left him to die
after a struggle. Inside the vault, Helena discovered a journal
written in code. |

Huntress gave half
of her father's journal to O'Shea, a cop who'd let her go twice,
to decipher. The other half went to a TV reporter who'd been
scarred by the mob. O'Shea could do nothing with the code, so he
gave it to a master cryptologist inmate, Alexander Wyvern.
Wyvern said it was all useless drivel and plotted an escape with
his new knowledge. Huntress found her reporter dead. |

an incorrect Bertinelli. Helena and Tony made up. A truck
transporting Uranium and Plutonium was hijacked en route to
