| Storyline |
After
capturing the "Polka-Dot Man" and seeing Bullock rough him up,
Montoya requested to be reassigned. She took a kidnapping case with Bock
and Essen. Internal Affairs went after Bullock and had him see a
psychiatrist. He and his new partner, Soong, began working on a serial
killer case where all the victims received a teddy bear before they were
killed. Kitch and Caz looked into a string of art robberies. Montoya,
acting as bait, was kidnapped by third-world zealots. Kitch and Caz got
nowhere with the lawyer who was acting as the go-between for the insurance
companies and the art robbers. The teddy bear murderer struck again.
Bullock and Soong got a lead - all the victims had been sperm donors at
the same place. After interviewing several recipients and zeroing in on
one, Bullock himself received a teddy bear. They confronted their suspect
and Soong took a bullet (he'd lost 3 previous partners to shootings).
Bullock arrested the killers, who'd lost a baby from the same place the
donors donated. Montoya escaped her captives; Kitch and Caz took down the
lawyer they'd been after - he was setting up the heists. |
