The unmarked car Montoya and Allen were in broke down.
He pushed her a bit and she came clean about Corrigan.
She'd done what she did to clear him, not worrying about
taking the dirty cop down.
They got an emergency dispatch: Riddler and others were
on the loose. A patrol car came by and they traded places
with the beat cops.
When they got to the scene, they saw the Rock of Eternity
exploding in the sky above Gotham City. In the rubble,
they found Captain Marvel. He was muttering about the
Spectre having killed the Wizard. The Spectre's visage
shown across the sky. As Marvel told them what they
were seeing, Montoya was shot by a green light. She
pulled her gun on her partner, but Marvel got the "possession"
to leave her. He explained the seven deadly sins were
now free in Gotham. Captain Marvel, worried for his
family, left.
Montoya and Allen came across the Fisherman - one of
Aquaman's rogues. MacDonald and Driver shot him before
he could do much damage. It was only then did everyone
realize the world was coming to an end. They ran into
some looters, but Montoya took one's kneecap out and
the rest fled. Chris got Renee to the restaurant where
her girlfriend worked. She gave him her car to get home
to his own family. |

Allen had been watching Montoya off the clock. He'd
seen her with a violent streak and confronted her about
it.
Bad cop Corrigan picked up another score - a huge amount
of pure cocaine.
Allen went out; Montoya went through his stuff. She
found notes and pictures of Corrigan. She went to Internal
Affairs about it. They knew nothing and advised her
not to know anything, either. When Cris returned, Renee
gave him back his folder.
Corrigan was told that Allen was seen talking to one
of his men. Corrigan caught him and began torturing
him.
Montoya went to her girlfriend for help.
Allen found the body of the cop he'd been getting information
from, then was shot several times by Corrigan. |

Maggie Sawyer visited Montoya to tell her Allen had
been found dead. Montoya immediately burst into police
HQ announcing Corrigan did it. Evidence started to mount
against the rouge cop. The weapon used to kill Allen
was from evidence, and had been "rented" by
Corrigan.
Corrigan, his girlfriend, and another cop were brought
in for questioning.
Montoya spoke with Cris' widow. |

Corrigan and his girlfriend walked. He'd had the murder
weapon altered before bring it back in, so no one could
prove anything.
Montoya visited again with Allen's family. Afterwards,
she got drunk and broke in on Corrigan. With him cowering
in fear, she put her gun up and walked away. The next
day, she placed her badge and gun on Sawyer's desk and
quit. |
