Detective
Driver was requested by a hostage taker. He and his
partner, Josie Mac, arrived at the scene. The man turned
out to be Driver's little brother's best friend. He'd
been homeless recently. He got the man to let the hostages
go, but had to give himself up in return. The man rattled
on about the voice in his head and his highschool baseball
team (he was one of two survivors when their locker
room was bombed). He then stuck a gun to his head and
fired. Driver was given the OK to reopen the unresolved
case. He and Josie found none of the evidence on the
case. When they checked, they found that Harvey Bullock
was the last to check it out. Later they (Josie) found
one box that included the suicide victim's cap - it
had one of the Mad Hatter's control devices in it. |
