Driver and Fields
questioned the homeless man from the park where the dead girl was
last seen. He claimed friendship with the girl and had no reason
to kill her. The Firebug suspect lived, though he had two broken
arms and a broken leg. He claimed innocence - he'd sold his
costume two years previous and was now out of the game. The man
who the girl was babysitting for was fingered by the man as the
buyer of the suit. They got him to confess - she'd found his
costume and he'd killed her with it. |
