Storyline

Wonder Woman 15 Swan Song
Diana awakened from a dream where she and Superman kissed. Her publicist was planning a fair for charity in her honor.
Elsewhere, a woman escaped being run down by a car, only to have its driver pull a gun. The gunman was shot by another and the woman was shot by the same man. She (Maxine Sterenbuch) woke up later chained to a bed. Her captor (who merely shot her with tranquilizer) introduced himself as Solomon. He told her the Silver Swan (Valerie Beaudry) had a contract out on her life. Maxine confided in the man that she'd been penpals with Valerie for several years and had only recently met her. Solomon showed her a picture of a horribly deformed creature nothing like the beautiful woman Maxine knew. Her parents had been victim of nuclear testing and she was born that way. Five years previous, she was brought into the Silver Swan project due to the mutant powers she'd developed.
Steve Trevor (now resigned from the Air Force) met Vanessa at the fair. Shortly thereafter, Wonder Woman was introduced. Another flying woman in white - the Silver Swan - attacked the fair.

Wonder Woman 16 Bird of Paradise / Bird of Prey
Wonder Woman saved all the children from the falling ferris wheel, but the Silver Swan (being controlled by others) let loose more sonic screams and totally destroyed the carnival. Hovering above her destruction, she gave a speech (or rather spoke the words she was given). Wonder Woman's vanity had ruined the real purpose of the carnival - needy children. Silver Swan ordered those below her to hand over the money. Wonder Woman was told to take it to her.
Solomon took a shot at her when she let down her sonic force field to receive the money; Wonder Woman went after her.
After a chase and a battle, Wonder Woman captured the Silver Swan. Her handlers saw that she was freaking out, then she let loose a huge scream.
Diana met Steve and gave him his mother's gun. Back at the Kapatelis home, Diana saw a poster of Superman on Vanessa's wall. She confided with the youngster that she had feelings for him. Vanessa urged her to meet up with him and tell him. She contacted her agent, who set up a meeting.

Action 600 Different Worlds
Diana met Superman, who surprised her with a passionate kiss. They discussed what they were or were not feeling for each other, then flew away together. As they discussed powers and responsibilities, Hermes called out for Diana. She went to him immediately. Though she told Superman to stay back, he followed anyway.
Diana found Hermes and freed him from his cell - a new god had invaded Olympus: Darkseid. After noting them there, Darkseid sent Kalibak and Amazing Grace to distract the heroes. Wonder Woman and Superman saw their adversaries as each other.
Back on Earth, Myndi (Diana's publicist / agent) put out the word that the two heroes were in love.
Diana and Superman battled their way toward Darkseid. She made him realize that he could not have taken Olympus so easily had the Gods of Myth stood in his way. He'd only encountered Hermes since invading. He and his minions boom tubed back to Apokolips.
Superman and Wonder Woman returned to Earth and realized they were too different to pursue a romantic relationship. Superman introduced himself as "Clark" to her.

Wonder Woman 17 Traces
Steve and Etta drove Diana and Vanessa to the airport - they were heading to Greece for the winter. On the way, Diana read them a letter from her mother (a dove arrived with it shortly before they departed). From the airport, Diana wrote her mother and sent the dove back to Paradise Island.
The Gods of Myth debated a retaliation against Darkseid for the damage done to Olympus.
Diana arrived in Greece to much fanfare. In another part of the country, a plot was devised to destroy her. As they toured the land, Diana felt her ancestors and the gods everywhere.
While on a boat, Diana began feeling cold while looking at a nearby island. She passed out.

Wonder Woman 18 Creatures of the Dark
Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades journeyed to the final resting place of their father. From inside his body, they pulled the Olympian Pact. They destroyed it and created another.
Diana was released from the hospital and she went with her friends to the home of Julia's parents. Spies continued to watch her. Stavros, an old family friend of Julia's, was called away by a mysterious note. He met with its sender and was informed of the plot against Diana by the "witch on the island."
Throughout the land, people were killed by possessed beasts.
Stavros was given a scroll to translate. He was interrupted by Vanessa, who was there to make a phone call. Later in the evening, Diana and Julia went to pick her up, but the house was engulfed in flames. Diana rescued Stavros, but he told her Vanessa had escaped. Diana found her nearby with the scroll, but they were confronted by monsters wanting the document. Vanessa was spared, but Diana was taken by the beasts. Circe ordered them to bring the Amazon to her.

Wonder Woman 19 The Witch on the Island
Circe introduced herself to Diana when the princess regained consciousness. As she brewed a spell, she told Diana her backstory and how she used Antiope to kill Hippolyte. Diana raged and broke free of her bindings. Circe blasted her.
Locals attacked Circe's island, killing many of her creatures. They fought their way to the witch's palace, where Circe neared completion of her potion. Diana was placed in mud, where the potion were degenerate her back into her original state. Julia got to the area and shot the potion out of Circe's hand; she gave Diana back her lasso, and the Amazon stopped her from killing the witch. Circe's servants captured Julia, and Diana was again knocked out. As Circe neared them for the killing blow, a shout rang out and she disappeared along with her castle and minions.
The locals, assuming Diana had killed her, celebrated. Hermes looked on from Olympus - he didn't want Diana to believe that all the gods had abandoned her.
A week later, as the group readied for the trip back to the United States, Vanessa showed them a newspaper - Diana's publicist, Myndi, had been murdered.
