Superman
and Batman examined the ruins of the Watchtower.
They found no trace of J'onn, but Batman did recover
the "black box" which held complete recordings
of the last two years. Wonder Woman appeared; they
discussed the world's fear of them due to her.
Conner Kent watched television and saw the footage
of Wonder Woman killing Max Lord. Also reported
was the Teen Titans going up against some OMACs.
After some reassurance from his Aunt Martha, Superboy
thought of going to help them.
In Bludhaven, Donna Troy and her team (Starfire,
Cyborg, Supergirl, etc.) spoke with Nightwing before
heading into space.
An OMAC killed Ratcatcher (Otis Flannegan); another
targeted Nightwing. Before acting, it and the others
were called back to Brother Eye to initiate protocol
Truth and Justice.
War continued to rage in the Polaris system. The
Guardians watched and realized Oa was no longer
the center of the universe. The Rock of Eternity
exploded over Gotham City. Captain Marvel landed
on the police car near Cris Allen and Renee Montoya.
He muttered about the Spectre killing the wizard.
Near Metropolis, Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters
investigated a recent location where the Society
had gathered. They were attacked by some of the
members - Polaris, Dr. Light, Deathstroke, Zoom,
Black Adam, Sinestro, Bizzaro, Cheetah, and Psycho
Pirate.
Mongul attacked the heroes on the moon. Superman
had to stop Wonder Woman from killing him. Mongul
teleported away. The three verbally attacked each
other for their recent actions (or lack thereof).
After watching the goings-on, Superman (of Earth-2)
broke through the barriers that had held him and
his companions (his wife Lois, Alexander Luthor
of E-3, and Superboy of E-Prime) since the Crisis
on Infinite Earths. |

Animal
Man suited up and prepared to go into space. He
arrived on New Cronus and met with the rest of Donna's
team.
As Power Girl fought Clayface, E-2 Superman realized
her heartbeat was identical to that of the new Supergirl.
He helped her take down a few other villains and
introduced himself as her cousin.
Perry White told Lois about the Freedom Fighters
- Black Condor, Phantom Lady, and Human Bomb were
found dead; Damage was in critical condition; Uncle
Sam and the Ray were missing. She found Clark just
before he got into costume and flew into action.
The Society's Lex Luthor (Alexander) told Deathstroke
to call off the Marvel Family hunt - he'd use Black
Adam for his "mind wiping machine" instead.
As the other (real) Lex Luthor (wearing green armor)
watched, E-2 Superman took Power Girl to his friends.
They told her about the multiverse, the previous
crises, and how the one Earth was formed from five.
After that shock, he took her to his Lois, who was
dying. When they touched hands, Kara remembered
everything. Superman asked for her help in bringing
back the right Earth - their Earth.
Booster Gold returned to our time too late to save
the JLA Watchtower. He and Skeets went looking for
Blue Beetle's scarab.
The Joker killed the Royal Flush gang because he
was told he wasn't wanted in the Society.
Alfred tried to patch Bruce up, but he was too busy
trying to reconstruct tapes from the Watchtower.
He spoke with Brother Eye as OMACs attacked Themysciera.

The
Society attacked the sea near San Diego; Aquaman
declared war on them. The Spectre stomped Atlantis.
Wonder Woman realized there was no way to "win"
against the OMACs, who were busy filming the battle.
Batman was unable to get Brother Eye to stop the
attack. As Bruce began to buckle, E-2 Superman showed
up in the cave. He told him about Earth-2, where
Bruce Wayne was police commissioner. He'd married
Selina Kyle and had a daughter, Helena, who grew
up to be Huntress. He asked Batman to help him bring
back Earth-2. Batman asked about Dick Grayson of
that Earth; Superman could not say he was a better
man. Batman put on his Kryptonite ring, but it did
not affect E-2's Superman - it wasn't from his Krypton.
He destroyed the ring and left.
After arguing with Power Girl about the virtues
of Earth-2, Superboy Prime gave her Lois's journal.
Superman helped the Shadow Pact with a falling skyscraper
and headed to the west coast. A kid in El Paso found
a glowing blue bug.
Wally left his wife and newborn twins to go help.
The Flash stopped several tornados.
Diana ordered the purple death ray deactivated.
She had Paradise Island retreat; it disappeared
from our plane of reality.
After Black Adam was captured by the Society for
the "mind wiping machine," Lex Luthor
confronted Lex Luthor (Alexander). He destroyed
his computers revealing him to be Alexander Luthor
of Earth-3. Superboy Prime attacked Lex, but he
teleported away.
Power Girl found one of the tuning towers from the
Crisis on Infinite Earths. Attached were representatives
of several different Earths - including Martian
Manhunter. Superboy Prime attacked her per Alexander's
wishes and she was attached to the tower.
Batman watched the reconstructed tapes from the
Watchtower - an unknown Superman / boy had attacked
J'onn and destroyed the base. |

Phantom
Stranger was greeted by the still-blind Madame Xanadu.
Daena, Xanadu's eyes, and Zatanna were there awaiting
the arrival of Dr. Fate. Nabu arrived and announced
the death of Hector Hall - no one would wear the
helmet and amulet until the next age of magic.
Spectre attacked T'charr and Terataya. Hawk and
Dove reverted back to their human form after feeling
them die.
After hearing Xanadu's reading, Nabu gave out assignments.
Led by the Phantom Stranger, dozens of magicians
arrived in Gotham City. He instructed police and
civilians to evacuate from the area littered with
remains of the Rock of Eternity. Stranger gave the
Shadow Pact containers to capture the seven deadly
sins. Zatanna's group began rebuilding the Rock.
Nabu confronted the Spectre. Spectre refused to
be reasoned with and lashed out at Nabu.
Nightshade captured Greed, but was then captured
by the Society. The other sins were recaptured and
the Rock was rebuilt. In order for it to stabilize,
Captain Marvel became it's permanent resident. Nabu
was killed, and God called Spectre back - a new
human host would have to be found.
The helmet of Dr. Fate was tossed, leaving it up
to fate who would be the next to wear it. |

So
Deathstroke could get back at Nightwing, the Society
dropped Chemo on Bludhaven. The city was utterly
destroyed; Alexander and Superboy watched as they
worked on the tower. Alex told Kara (Power Girl)
they'd been visiting Earth for quite a while. When
Lois fell ill, he and Superboy broke out. They got
the Anti-Monitor's corpse, and Alexander began forming
the Society while posing as Lex Luthor. They began
helping him collect his needs for the tower - vibrational
frequencies from the other earths living on in survivors
(or decedents) of the multiverse. Magic was needed
to fuel the device. Psycho Pirate was used to get
Eclipso to manipulate the Spectre. Superboy had
moved planets, which not only sparked a war, but
also changed the center of the universe.
After learning Dick was ok, Batman asked for his
help. In the Cave, Batman and Nightwing talked about
the Bludhaven situation. Nightwing headed to Titans
Tower in the jet.
Alex pushed Superman a bit more, telling him Lois
only had a few hours left to live.
Superboy Prime arrived in Smallville to confront
Conner. Their fight raged into town and included
Krypto. The Teen Titans arrived to help their Superboy.
They brought the Doom Patrol and JSA. Prime killed
Wildebeest and Pantha. The Flashes (Jay, Wally,
and Bart) arrived and grabbed him. Jay could not
keep up with the others and had to stop. They disappeared
into the speed force. Wally disappeared and reappeared
to Linda and the twins. She refused to let him leave
and latched on to him. Barry Allen, Johnny Quick,
and Max Mercury appeared and helped Bart. Jay told
Wildcat the speed force was dead.
Booster's search led him to El Paso, Texas and a
high school kid named Jaime Reyes. The Scarab had
attached itself to the boy.
In Gotham City, the Spectre was attached to the
recently deceased Detective Cris Allen.
OMACs converged around Alexander's tower as it became
visible to the outside world.
In space, Airwave separated into "a million
different directions." The Firestorm matrix
split, seemingly abandoning Jason Rusch.
Earth-2 reappeared, all of it's former heroes disappeared.

Donna
Troy and her team neared the "event" which
the Titans of myth foretold. They all witnessed
giant hands across the starfield. No one had any
explanation. Sardath discovered another force which
had caused the Rann - Thanagar War.
Komand'r kept telling the Grand Mor that Rann was
behind everything, including the giant hands. They
resumed their attack.
A new energy wave blasted through.
Kilowog was ordered to Thanagar; Kyle was to remain
in space. Alan Scott and Captain Comet went with
Kilowog. Jade and Kyle split up to take on the hands.
Tigorr called Adam Strange and the Hawks in - his
ship collided with a Thanagarian satellite and gathered
some intel. They patched through to Sardath and
everyone else: they saw a young Superman moving
planets into each other. Komand'r ordered her forced
to continue the attack. The next energy wave destroyed
the satellite along with their evidence.
Jade was blasted by energy from the hands. As she
died, she returned her power to Kyle.
On Thanagar, Kilowog's team helped a group of locals
bring in supplies hoping to rebuild. Comet got word
of Jade and relayed it to her father. Kyle, now
in another outfit, gave some of the power to Alan.
The Guardians watched. They saw Rayner as the first
of a new breed.
Adam Strange's group found Superboy Prime's hand
prints on the planet (Kilowog's ring provided the
identity of the prints). A temporary truce between
Rann and Thanagar was created; focus placed on destroying
the hands. Ion (Kyle) led the attack. |

As
a mass was being held for all the "capes,"
Mr. Terrific and Ragman pondered the multiple
Earths. The JSA realized the Earth they'd appeared
on was manufactured - no pollution, and all chemicals
were in perfect harmony. E2 Superman showed his
Lois the Daily Star building.
Batman caught two intruders in the cave - Booster
Gold introduced him to Jaime, the new Blue Beetle.
Booster's history showed him who Batman took on
his mission to destroy Brother Eye, he took the
liberty of inviting them all. History also showed
him that Brother Eye was never found, but he believed
Blue Beetle could change that.
Lex Luthor visited Conner in his medical tank.
On Earth 2, Lois died. Superman cried out; his
cry was heard by the other Superman. Wonder Woman
stopped some looters before witnessing a woman
in her costume she thought was her mother. Kal-El
arrived on Earth 2 and was attacked by it's Superman.
Earth 2's Wonder Woman told her counter part that
she'd been placed on Mt. Olympus when the original
Crisis occurred and that she didn't have long.
Superman needed Diana. She was dropped off on
Earth 2 and confronted the fighting Supermen.
When Kal-L realized how he'd been manipulated,
he flew off.
Alex Luthor told Psycho Pirate about each of the
people he had on his tower - one for each of the
possible Earths. He explained about Earth-8, which
would have been the home to Kyle Rayner, Helena
Bertinelli, and Jason Rusch had the multiverse
continued. Breach was that Earth's Captain Atom.
Alex then contacted Brother Eye; more Earths became
visible.
Nightwing put a call out to all Earth 1 heroes
- they were to meet at Titans' Tower. He looked
out the window and saw dozens of Earths, some
unstable and self-destructing. Superboy (Conner)
arrived to help. Nightwing told him what he knew
about the plot to replace their Earth. When they
realized no one else was coming to help, they
headed to Luthor's tower.
The Flash - Barry Allen - appeared in Japan. He
warned Dr. Light (the female) that Superboy Prime
had escaped them. He appeared to have fashioned
armor from the Anti-Monitor's corpse.

Part
1: Alex Luthor, born Earth-3
Luthor was growing tired of watching everything
happen from outside of time and reality ("There
is no sleep here. No day. No night. No sense of
passing time"). Superman and Superboy discussed
being homesick for worlds which didn't exist. Alex
pushed Superboy a bit with his memories and grief.
He told him about how he could have chosen Apokolips
- Darkseid had somehow controlled him momentarily
during the Crisis on Infinite Earths. He believed
that if they'd gone to Apokolips instead of this
heaven, they would have had access to Earth.
Lois had come to grips with the fact that she was
dying, but she could not convince her husband. Superboy
let his anger get the best of him and he punched
the barrier where they watched the past and present.
Luthor noticed it caused a change in reality.
Part 2: Kal-L, born Earth-2
Superman began to believe that getting Lois to Earth-2
would cure her. Every time Superboy began to feel
good, Alex would manipulate what he was seeing so
that his emotions would swing. He gave up and told
Alex he'd do what ever to help get them out.
Part 3: Clark Kent, born Earth-Prime
As Superboy continued to bash through the walls
of their reality, Alex Luthor traced the "changing"
events back to Superman's death at the hands of
Doomsday. Luthor showed him his parents now on the
current Earth and how they were killed in an automobile
accident. Alex gave Superboy some of his antimatter
in hopes of giving him more power. He broke free
and was spotted by Blue Beetle (Ted) who thought
he was Superman.
Alex came through next, posing as that Earth's Lex
Luthor. He retrieved Psycho Pirate, took over Checkmate,
and started the Rann-Thanagar War. |

Batman's
team took Ted Kord's ship out looking for Brother
Eye. Using the scarab, Blue Beetle was able to pull
the satellite out of it's vibrational frequency
and into theirs. OMACs attacked as Brother Eye told
them it was helping Alexander Luthor create other
Earths.
E2 Superman agreed to help Wonder Woman and Superman
of Earth 1 (for lack of a better name). Alexander
Luthor continued to create worlds by smashing others
together.
The Spectre was summoned to Stonehenge of E1 by
magic-wielders. He killed Star Sapphire.
Superboy and Nightwing watched Luthor's tower. Their
only hope was to free some of the captives and get
their help. Wonder Girl arrived to lend a hand.
Batman's team burst through into Brother Eye. He
gave out the orders and they entered.
Luthor prepared to merge Earths 2 and 3; Wonder
Woman and the Supermen were still on 2. Professor
Stein told Firestorm to turn all the firepower going
to the hands into raw positive matter. It worked.
Alex, stunned, pulled back. Nightwing gave him a
full-on kick. His former prisoners joined the attack.
Black Adam destroyed Psycho Pirate. He then went
after Superboy Prime, who'd just entered the battle.
Prime punched him far enough away from the tower
that he returned to Earth-S. Prime told Alex he'd
built the suit to be a solar receiver - it collected
yellow sun for him. He built it after escaping from
the Flashes, who'd kept him "imprisoned for
years under red sunlight." He went after Nightwing,
and was grabbed by E1's Superboy from behind.
Batman distracted Brother Eye long enough for his
team to throw it out of orbit. The Green Lanterns
began saved the innocents when the OMACs began to
break up. Hal grabbed Batman from the wrecking craft.
They headed to Superman's fortress.
Conner flew Prime through Luthor's tower, causing
an explosion. Shards of Earths flew everywhere;
"New Earth" was created. Cassie found
Conner in the wreckage. He died in her arms with
Nightwing, Batman, Wonder Woman, and the Supermen
watching. |

Brother

Lazarus Protocol was initiated. It grabbed the two
nearby witnesses and turned them into OMACs.
Batman's team (Green Lantern Stewart, Sasha Bordeaux,
Metamorpho, Mr. Terrific, Booster Gold, Green Arrow,
and Black Canary) returned to Earth. Through the
Green Lanterns' rings, Batman told Sasha she must
find and destroy the remains of the satellite -
it contained data on all heroes and villains alive.
Amanda Waller briefed the President on the situation.
She was appointed acting Black King of Checkmate.
A local group moved in on Brother Eye and was attacked
by the OMACs. Governments all over the world began
preparing teams to recover the device for their
own use.
Brother Eye saw Sasha and John Stewart approaching.
The GL dropped her off and wished her luck. She
heard Brother Eye calling out to her; she resisted
and contacted Checkmate. She refused orders when
told to return to base. Twilight and Fire were sent
to stop her from contacting Brother Eye.
Sasha arrived at the crash site to see the two massive
OMACs battling it out with several Russian Rocket
Reds and what she believed to be Israeli commandos
and Chinese commando. Brother Eye let her in. It
told her Max Lord had no idea she was a sleeper
agent - it decided on it's own to make her one.
Brother Eye prepared to upload its data into her.
She detonated her explosives while inside the downed
satellite.
Sasha's nanobot exoskeleton saved her from the blast

Kal-L
began to feel guilty about Superboy's death. Other
heroes, including Robin - Superboy's best friend,
converged on the scene.
The all-out war raged on in Metropolis. Alex and
Prime watched, contemplating using the Society to
take this Earth for them. Alex told him this Earth
was continuing to have its history altered: Wonder
Woman had helped form the Justice League; the Waynes'
killer had been caught; Superman had been reported
before arriving in Metropolis.
The Supermen attacked Doomsday, then Bizarro. Batman,
Robin, and Nightwing went after Deathstroke. The
JSA remembered Kal-L. Kal-L confronted Alex, who
told him he was the only hero in a world full of
villains. The Flash - Bart - attacked Superboy Prime.
While they fought, Bart told Wonder Girl that he
was the only one of the Flashes who could still
run and he was losing it. Prime escaped and headed
to Oa where he planned to create a new Big Bang.
Martian Manhunter read his mind and relayed his
plans to everyone. Prime killed Zauriel and Breach.
When the smoke cleared, Captain Atom was in Breach's
place.
Alex went to blast Batman with antimatter, but Nightwing
jumped in front of him, taking the force in the
chest. As Robin checked on his fallen partner, Alex
lectured Batman. Batman got one of Deathstroke's
guns and put it to Luthor's head. Wonder Woman convinced
him murder wasn't worth it and broke her sword.
He tossed the gun away and Luthor was buried in
his own avalanche.
The Green Lantern Corp slowed Prime. When he began
killing mass numbers of them, the Guardians approved
excessive force. While he was distracted, the two
Supermen grabbed Prime. They took him through the
heart of Krypton's red sun and onto the Green Lantern
planet. His armor was destroyed and his powers were
leaving him. The fight continued until the GLC and
other flying heroes arrived. Prime was contained;
Kal-L died with his cousin, Kara, beside him.
With the war over, Metropolis began to rebuild.
Memorials were held for the fallen.
Bart Allen and Jay Garrick talked: Wally, Linda,
and the twins had vanished. Bart had escaped with
some built up speed, but the speed force was gone.
Being that Jay was not a part of it, he was now
the fastest man alive. Bart gave up his costume.
Joker and Lex Luthor tracked down and killed Alexander
Luthor.
Clark, Diana, and Bruce talked. Clark would be without
powers until he recharged, and he had no idea how
long that would be. Diana decided to rediscover
who she was. Bruce headed off to retrain himself
and his partners - Dick and Tim. They felt confident
there were enough heroes to take care of thing while
they were gone.
The Green Lantern Corps watched over Superboy Prime
- he was being contained in a red-sun eater, watched
by 50 GLs at all times. |

Alex
Luthor in the SFO about Superboy Prime punching the walls
of their heaven: "The original Crisis took all the
remaining Earths and merged them together again. But there
were glitches...paradoxes...and the universe demanded that
it's flaws be fixed. With each strike he's sorting his way
through the conflicting permutations...resolving
all the possible realities. This is...miraculous."
"I don't know how, but he's altering reality out there
(on Earth). Creating conflicting truths. People are changing
without explanation. New events are superseding what had
always been. Each strike he takes is rupturing the continuity
of life without reason or purpose. In this place we can
alter our own reality, but now we're changing theirs, too." |
