storyline Commissioner Gordon assigned Detective Moreland McShane to take down Catwoman after the Feds cleared her record. He began searching for any unaccounted-for loot that it was known she took. They met up and she embarrassed him.

storyline A "copycat" stole a cat relic from a museum trying to make it look like Catwoman was the culprit. McShane knew it wasn't the real one in on the heist. The real Catwoman was making a deal with a man named Zee to rob a weapons development facility. While getting her loot, she bumped into one of the weapons - a woman in a cybernetic cat suit.

storyline Catwoman got her loot and escaped the CyberCAT. After dropping the blueprints off to Zee, she learned of part two of her heist. Selina Kyle staged a run-in with Detective McShane in attempt to recover the diary he'd uncovered at her old hideout. Catwoman was beaten to her booty by the She-Cat. CyberCAT attacked them both.

storyline The two catwomen escaped, then She-Cat escaped Catwoman. CyberCAT and Catwoman both tracked She-Cat; Catwoman to get her score and CyberCAT to get the motorcycle Selina'd stolen (thinking they were in league together). They double-teamed CyberCAT and won. Catwoman bought the device from She-Cat and delivered it to Zee. When she learned it was to be sold to terrorists, she caused it to backfire on them. An anonymous tip got She-Cat arrested for the museum robbery and holding counterfeit bills.

storyline From prison, a man who Catwoman had taken down hired nine assassins to kill her (one for each of her nine lives). Zee was to be the intermediary on the contracts, but instead tipped Selina off in order to spilt the bounty with her. With his help, Catwoman defeated each assassin and called McShane with the whereabouts of each. She stole Zee's half of the bounty because she did all the work.

storyline Two-Face escaped New Arkham again. He set out to steal a rare writer-owned copy of The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, but the copycat got to it first. She got Zee to fence it for her. Gordon informed Batman that Harvey Dent was loose again and that it appeared Catwoman was active. They were both suspects in the book robbery. While the seller showed the book to prospective buyers, Two-Face attacked. Alleycat and Catwoman attacked him; cases of liquor caught fire.

storyline Catwoman escaped with the book. She and Alleycat fought at Zee's, but the real Catwoman won. She took the book and set a trap for Two-Face, bested him, and left him under the signal for Batman and Gordon. The book was gift wrapped and left on McShane's doorstep.

storyline Selina took another job from Zee - infiltrate the criminal organization known as Spider. She was successful. Spider took her in as the world's greatest thief. Her first job was to steal a crystal skull, which posed no problem for her. Later that night, she decided to steal it for herself.

storyline Catwoman was cornered by Spider agents, but was able to get away. She returned to the base and stashed some loot. Zee was contacted to have authorities waiting outside Spider's base and they were all taken down while evacuating (Catwoman set it to self destruct).

storyline Catwoman, out on a job, was attacked by Cyber-CAT. She barely escaped and went to Zee. She asked Clutterbuck to design her some armor go to up against CyberCAT again. She had to be Selina Kyle until it was ready so not to attract her foe's attention. When it was completed, she went in after CyberCAT and defeated her. Catwoman left her, and the Feds came in quickly and picked her up.

storyline Catwoman, busy knocking off a drug house, was attacked by Huntress. They finished the job, Huntress got the money for a charity. Catwoman told her of a score outside town - a big time drug lord. Huntress agreed to go in with her, but 90% would go to her charity, and only 10% for Catwoman. They got inside, but were surrounded by thugs with guns.

storyline Catwoman used one of Clutterbuck's "button bombs" to clear the room and blow the safe. While splitting up the loot, Huntress shot at her. Catwoman threw her share at her and left. Gordon took McShane off the Catwoman case and reassigned him to the serial killer called Headhunter. Selina woke up and found the detective in her living room. He'd realized she was Catwoman. In their struggle, he outted himself as Headhunter.
