The plane
Barbara and Madison were on was forced down by Blackaver's
plane. Canary survived the crash and got her captors free of
the submerging truck. With their mission a failure, their
collars went off, killing the men. Canary received a distress
signal from Barbara and headed her direction. Madison was able
to stop her father and Talia (she ran LexCorp with Luthor in
office). Canary got Barbara and Madison to safety. The girl
was put in a boarding school for girls that Barbara picked
out. |

Oracle checked
out a second attack on a scientific research facility. Black
Canary, who was taking a day off, got attacked by an apelike
creature. She fled on her motorcycle, but it kept up. The
creature, calling itself Java, captured Canary. Oracle
was attacked in the Clocktower as a third research facility
was bombed. |

the Clocktower, claimed to be the real Killer Moth. He knew
she'd been Batgirl. Java asked Black Canary to help him find
Sapphire. She and her child had been engulfed in energy when
equipment at her father's lab exploded. She was the one
blowing up the research facilities. |

Barbara was able
to trap the intruder. Black Canary broke the spell over Java,
revealing him as Rex Mason - Metamorpho. He battled it out
with the entity which was made up of his wife, child, and
father-in-law (Simon Stagg). They were separated by another
energy burst. Twag, the Clocktower intruder, took something
and dissolved. |

Barbara vacationed, Dinah met a guy, but she couldn't distance
herself from her feelings for Oliver Queen. Back in Gotham
City, they tested the Clocktower's new security systems.
Barbara began to doubt her relationship with Dick; the guy
Dinah had been seeing got the hots for her partner. |

Black Canary ran
into Nightwing while on patrol and helped him out. He asked
her about Barbara and later visited the Clocktower. Tom, the
man who Dinah was seeing, bumped into his brother, Danko Twag
- the man who'd attacked Oracle. Danko, who'd been having
blackouts and headaches, remembered being an apprentice to
Felix Faust, an early JLA enemy. Tom told him about Barbara.
Black Canary returned to the Clocktower to find Barbara out
with Dick. Twag, calling himself Felix Faust, was there. |

fought off Faust / Twag, who thought she was Barbara. He
eventually teleported away. He and Tom struggled over Barbara
and they teleported back to the Clocktower. Canary teleported
away with Twag; Tom was left with Barbara, who knocked him
unconscious. He awakened on a park bench with her and told her
about his brother. After a fight on a beach, Twag and Canary
teleported to the park. Danko died from too much teleporting. |

Black Canary
picked up a farming conglomerate and forced his hand with
information of his plans to steal his employee's retirements
and flee. Back at the Clocktower, she and Oracle discussed
their right to the information she kept up with. She watched
the man's pc as he wrote a suicide note. Canary headed out to
stop him. When she arrived, she was attacked by a man named
Savant and his partner, Creote. Savant messaged Oracle that
he'd captured her. |

Savant's captives (the suicide victim) got her her
transmitter. Oracle began pinpointing it's location. Canary
got free of her bindings. Weakened, she tried to take down
Savant. Huntress arrived. |

As Black Canary
and Huntress were keeping Savant and Creote busy, the suicide
victim freed his family, then went back to help Canary. Oracle
finally got hacked into Savant's computers and began deleting
his files. While he was distracted by that, Huntress and
Canary took him down. They were able to recover his back up
files, but they destroyed them. |

checked into Arkham Asylum. A senator arranged for a meeting
with Black Canary - he wanted the information from Savant's
computers. They had been in a "working"
relationship. Huntress (as Canary while the real Canary
recovered) filled in nicely and played his bluff. After Dinah
refused to stay in the Clocktower and out of action, Oracle
fired her. |
