Storyline

Oracle contacted Dinah Lance (the Black Canary) about an assignment. Dinah arrived in Gotham City and began her mission to get information on an ecco-terrorist group called the Green Brotherhood. She began putting moves on Nick Devine, a self-made billionaire who'd been their recent target. Back in his hotel room, she learned that Lynx and the Ghost Dragons were Devine's personal security. After helping Lynx stop some attackers, Devine hired her on.
The crew flew into the third world country of Dwunda, where Devine was helping with its industrialization. Black Canary moved in on some of the Green Brotherhood trying to sabotage a dam. She stopped them, but Lynx finished their job. The dam was destroyed, devastating a nearby village. Realizing Nick Devine was behind the terrorists (to insure his profit), Oracle tracked him and Canary took him down.

Black Canary located a slavery ring while "auditioning" for a stage show. She hopped a flight to Santa Prisca to track down the kingpins. Once there, she moved in on the slave ship that was freshly docked from Gotham City. She was ambushed by Galiant's men. She was able to escape when he ordered them not to track her. Canary refused Oracle's order to abort the mission. She freed some of the slaves-to-be, but was captured by el Jefe del Mundo - Santa Prisca's president for life. After some strategic urging from Oracle, Galiant's men showed up and rescued her. El Jefe tried to escape, but Black Canary tracked him down. Galiant admitted that he was an agent hired by a soda company trying to get the market on cola beans. Oracle and Canary had a falling out about their relationship.

Black Canary and Lois Lane bumped into each other at a brawl in a furniture manufaturing plant. They were captured by goons and locked away. One of the enslaved workers got to them. Once freed, they were able to help the workers revolt.

Black Canary moved in on Archer Braun, her target. As she fought off his goons, Huntress (unknown to Canary or Oracle) was chasing Braun her way. Braun escaped; Canary and Huntress introduced themselves and traded their stories on how they'd met him socially. Catwoman joined the party. Against Oracle's wishes for Dinah, the three teamed up to chase Braun down. Canary jumped from their car onto Braun's, but was captured and taken aboard his plane. Huntress and Catwoman looked for the fence in his mint robbery. With Canary's earrings discarded, she couldn't hear Oracle but Oracle could hear her. Catwoman and Huntress got information on their search. After hearing a recorded message in Dinah's earring, Catwoman called the number it gave. Oracle sent them to the former USSR (Kazakhstan). Black Canary, Braun's captive, witnessed Lady Shiva in a gladiator-styled death match. Huntress and Catwoman neared the location where Canary was being held. Somehow, Braun was able to stop Shiva's attacks. Oracle, hearing this through Canary's transmitter, did some checking. He had psychic powers that allowed him to predict his opponents' moves. Shiva and Braun encountered Huntress and Catwoman. Shiva attacked Catwoman and Braun went after Huntress. Dinah escaped her cell and joined Catwoman against Shiva; Huntress, with Oracle's help, defeated Braun and joined Canary and Catwoman. They were able to put some distance between themselves and Shiva and got free.
