| Storyline |
A young girl
being hunted by Batman for killing four men went to Wonder Woman for
protection. She offered her Hiketeia - an ancient Greek vow of
supplication. Diana accepted, and she was sworn to protect her. Batman
found her and told Wonder Woman what had happened, but Diana's vow was too
powerful and she fought him off. The girl told her the truth about her
sister, which the four men had taken in, drugged, turned into a whore, and
killed. She escaped Diana's protection and was tracked down again by
Batman. The girl committed suicide when she faced the furies. |
