the newly animated horsemen and saw Malochia drawing an airplane
to him from a rooftop. Batman stopped him and broke his spell
over the pilots; the plane got away safely. Fate took Batman to
the underworld, where they fought a demon. Malochia, the demon's
portal to the real world, broke down psychologically. |

man's wife, son, competition, mistress, business partner, and
finally his mistress' husband. The man broke down and

Oracle lost connection with the Batcave at 7:03pm while giving a
report - a 7.6 earthquake hit Gotham City. Batman was swept up
by the rising currents from an underground stream; Alfred fell
into the cave from the crumbling Wayne Manor above. Oracle
headed to police HQ to find her father and rally the troops.

Eight days after
the quake, Gotham City was declared a national disaster area.
Batman stopped a man from committing suicide and got on the
trail of Mr. Freeze. Shortly after he captured Mr. Freeze, he
was attacked by Ultimate Clayface (who'd been trapped
underground since their last meeting). Freeze regained
consciousness and went after Clayface so he could be the one to
kill the Batman. Batman used their struggle to defeat them both.
Backup story consists of above suicide man's tale. |

vowed to stay in Gotham City and help start 10,000 new small
businesses. Mad Hatter teamed up with Narcosis temporarily and
then took him down (so he could have his hat/cowl). He began
releasing Narcosis' bliss gas across Gotham. Batman destroyed
what he was using to release the gas and took down Tetch.
Narcosis was believed dead in an ensuing fire. Oracle called in
helicopters to burn away the gas. |
