Slam Bradley took King Faraday to a placed called Jimmy's 24-7.
[1] World's Window
A father took his son to an old neighborhood. The boy met Jack Storms and his wife, Roberta. She gave the boy some paints so he could grow up and become and artist.

At Jimmy's 24-7, Slam and Janet exchanged scar stories.

[
2] King of America
King Faraday and Gracie O'Rielly were in 1956 Cuba on a mission - they were after a drug lord who was arming Castro's rebels. Faraday got in deep with Manale so he could get close to the drugs and take him down. Manale believed "John King" was having an affair with his wife. He took him out to kill him, but his gun backfired. With Manale dead, King went back to his house to clear out the safe. He found Gracie inside with Lola (Manale's now-widow). They had been having an affair and shot at King.

Slam called Selina, but got her machine.

[3] Funny Pages
Cooke's take on a news paper comics section and brief history of comics.

[4] Solo Dreamgirl Pinup
Selina spoke on the phone while admiring a recently acquired jewel.

[5] Everyday Madness
A man had a strange relationship with his vacuum cleaner.

Slam told a woman off for talking about acceptable casualties in a war in which she had not fought.

[6] The Question
"Terrorists kill. Governments react. War is waged."

Slam's date, Selina, finally arrived at Jimmy's 24-7.

[7] Deja Vu
A robbery went wrong. A mother and father were killed with their son as a witness. Batman nabbed one of the gang involved. He was able to follow the car. The driver was a bit freaked and stopped. Batman took another of the crew down before they could get away. He caught up with them at the hideout and took the other two down.
Back at home, Bruce thought of his parents.

Slam bid Selina good night and had one last drink.
