| Storyline |
Two workers
were killed when their construction site was bombed. Commissioner Akins
called Batman when the feds took his men off the case. Batman found a
crashed spaceship nearby. Both NASA and the Army were on site in secret.
President Luthor made a speech that Bruce and Lucious Fox attended. Batman
questioned a NASA official at the reception. He got info on the
construction site and gained clearance in disguise. There, he saw the feds
exhume an alien corpse from the wreckage. From an Army general, he got
another location. He also learned of two other spacecraft crashes. Talia,
heading up Luthor's holdings while he was in office, got him into the
"Metropolis Project," a secret organization under Luthor that
tested meta-humans. Batman visited Luthor. To cover his tracks, he framed
the general as a spy and the construction site bomber. While in
Metropolis, Bruce spoke with Superman about the Metropolis Project and the
Doomsday Contingency. |
