| Storyline |
Scarecrow
began hunting and attacking a girl who'd not been afraid to testify
against him. While incarcerated, he was ridiculed by the other inmates
because of her. He sent his goons to her house to plant the seeds of fear
- they killed her dog and beat her up. Weeks later, he attacked a subway
train she was on. He found her fear was that of his own - people used to
make fun of her appearance and health. Batman saved her, but Scarecrow was
still on the loose. He attacked her again and offered to make her his
queen of fear. She refused him; Batman tackled him as he prepared to kill
her. Back in Arkham, the inmates continued to ridicule Crane. |
