Julian
Day, aka Calendar Man, was taken down (again) by Batman
and Robin. Being his third offense, he got the maximum.
He blew up in the court room and was sent to Arkham Asylum.
He escaped when Bane blew the place up, only to be apprehend
by Power Girl. This time, he was sent to Blackgate. When
the earthquake hit, he escaped. He was taken down by GCPD
and returned to Arkham. He was put under radical therapy
- placed in a cell with only artificial light, he had no
way to discern the passage of time. When his parole date
came, he was set free. Batman paid him a visit in his new
apartment to let him know he would be watching.
Gordon called in Batman - he'd been given a note in Latin.
Day was planning something big. Batman gave Tim the note
to translate while he went out. Calendar Man had come up
with some sort of weapon that emitted electromagnetic pulses,
killing mechanical things near it.
Tim got the dates from the note a reported them to Batman.
Calendar Man took down a jetliner approaching Gotham City.
Batman and Matches Malone convinced some mooks it was in
their best interests to find Day. They found him as soon
as Batman did. Calendar Man was saved from his attackers
and escaped. Batman found him in time before he blew up
a nuclear power plant.
