| storyline |
Batman and Robin
took down Signal Man, Corrosive Man, and Kite Man on a jewel
heist. When Bruce returned home, Alfred was there waiting for him
with a house guest: Bane. Nightwing, Robin, and Batgirl were
called in by the butler. Bane requested information on the
remaining Lazarus Pits - he was out to destroy them all. Batman
and Bane visited Jason Blood. He helped the locate what was
thought to be the final pit. After they destroyed it, Bane showed
Batman a picture of Thomas Wayne with his mother.
+ When a statue in honor of Batman was
unveiled, Dr. Hugo Strange took offense. He threatened to blow it
up with Summer Gleason, a Gotham City reporter, tied to it. Batman
took him down and saved Gleason, but the monument was destroyed. |
