(continued
from Nightwing 65)
Bruce was denied bail at his arraignment due to flight risk.
Alfred returned to Wayne Manor for the first time since
Commissioner Gordon was shot. Barbara offered her services as an
attorney to Bruce - she'd taken correspondence courses in her
spare time and received a degree from Harvard. He refused and told
her he'd need her elsewhere.
(continued in Birds of Prey 39)
+ Batman had Alfred bail out a local
pub, which was in trouble with tax problems. The place was a
hotspot he often frequented under various disguises in order to
get information. |
