Officer Grayson
dropped Matatoa off at Arkham Asylum and headed back to the cave.
He suited up with Batman; Oracle called - Matatoa had escaped.
Nightwing caught up with him first, with Batman soon arriving.
Matatoa fell into the river during the struggle, but no body was
recovered. Back at the cave, Batman presented Dick with adoption
papers. Dick signed them and became Bruce's legal son. Matatoa
left Gotham City quite alive.
Batman went through a mental exercise, where
he attempted to work while blocking out sounds. |
