| storyline |
Bruce Wayne dreamed
of his parents, Dick's parents, and Jason. On patrol that night,
Batman pursued a man who'd shot up a bar. Upon capturing him, the
man (who called himself Matatoa) told Batman he was an
immortal that fed on the souls of his kills, gaining their
qualities - he had to kill to stay alive. Nightwing showed up as
he was offering to kill Batman so that he could guard Gotham City
forever. |
