Two weeks after being shot, Gordon returned to the scene of the
crime. Afterwards, he announced his retirement to his crew.
Michael Akins would be appointed his replacement;
"Hardback" Bock would replace Akins as Chief of Police.
Gordon took Akins to the roof to introduce him to Batman, who did
not take the news well. Bullock had to stop Montoya from killing
Rich at his own apartment. Batman later visited Gordon at his
home. Rich disappeared. |
