surviving, he retreated to the cave. He took a couple days off,

Alfred insisted
that Bruce take some time off after finding him passed in the
house with his costume on. For the next week, he planned on
devoting himself to Wayne Enterprises. While making sales
pitches, Robin and Azrael did the nightly patrols. They went in
after more industrial espionage against Wayne Enterprises. Robin
had to stop his new partner from going too far with one of the
criminals. Two major CEO's from WE's competition were hypnotized
into suicide. Lucious Fox was thought to be next. |

After the two
deaths, the feds began shutting down Wayne Enterprises - they
were in association with the other two firms creating a new
technology for the government. It appeared someone was out to
breach it. Batman, Robin, and Azrael went in to stop it. Through
detective work, the trio located and rescued Fox. The attempted
murderer was taken in. |

Ventriloquist and Amygdala teamed up to find Scarface. Batman
went in on a toy store break-in to get them; Robin followed the
second falcon he'd seen that day and was confronted by Bane's
henchman Bird. Bane didn't allow him to take Robin down; Bird
retreated. Batman took down Amygdala. In the Batmobile, they
heard reports that Zsasz had taken hostages in an all girl's
boarding school.

plotting. When Bane split, Robin followed. Soon after, Bane
captured him. Detective Bulloch found Batman out cold in an
alley near Police Headquarters. Robin awakened tied and
blindfolded in an underground reservoir. Bane questioned him and
was attacked by Killer Croc. Robin tried to escape as the two
brutes battled.

in the darkness of a rooftop. Trogg, one of Bane's men, attacked
him. Batman defeated Trogg, then Bird and Zombie (all of Bane's
men). Back at Wayne Manor, Bruce found Alfred unconscious with
Bane waiting for him.

Bane took Batman's unconscious body into the city and tossed him
from a rooftop. Jean Paul, Tim, and Alfred arrived quickly in an
ambulance and carted Batman off. After hearing the news of
Batman, Joker turned on Scarecrow. Back in the cave, Alfred
tried to stabilize Bruce. He sent Azrael and Robin into town for
medication. Robin told Gordon what was happening, and the
medication was ordered by the commissioner.

to stop Batman from going too far. Jean Paul Valley reminded
Robin that he was Batman now. They shook down "Tough"
Tony Bressi and got some leads on Bane. Bruce went to see Dr.
Shondra Kinsolving, who was treating Jack Drake. When he got
there, they were being kidnapped. Bruce was hurt further in the
struggle, but Alfred soon arrived.
