renovate it. Batman was waiting for him when he arrived to
murder Wayne. |

City began discovering skeletons (and other human remains) in
odd places. After cemeteries beefed up security, fresh corpses
began turning up. A former librarian, who began to hear voices
of the dead after his mother died was attempting to transform
Gotham into a library for dead bodies in order to quiet their
voices. Batman tracked and stopped him before he could kill
again. |

Gordon called in Batman and Robin to the second massive
electrocution in as many nights. A third victim was soon found,
but with a different M.O. The first two were victims of a failed
death-row execution. Elmo "Buzz" Galvan was after the
men who watched his execution. The third was victim of the third
man to call himself the Electrocutioner. Batman went after
Galvan, but was taken out by the Electrocutioner. |

final and was confronted by Batman and Robin. |

The Cluemaster
approached Wiley Cutter's gang for a team-up. Their first score
together went down without a hitch, while Batman and Robin dealt
with a hostage situation across town. Cluemaster insisted that
he'd given up his shtick of leaving clues intentionally at the
scene. A female in purple staked out the Cluemaster's
gang, and a clue was mailed to Gordon. Batman and Robin
questioned Arthur Brown (the Cluemaster). Back at their hideout,
Brown killed Cutter and took the gang for his own. |

A series of clues
were painted on high-rise buildings across Gotham City. Word on
the street was Cluemaster was at work. Batman and Robin staked
out his apartment while the police went in. Robin saw and went
after the girl in purple. She evaded him. A bomb exploded in
Brown's apartment, but none of the cops were injured. Tim did
some detective work the next day and found the girl to be
Stephanie Brown, Cluemaster's daughter. She was out to take her
father down. |

calling herself Spoiler, told Batman and Robin what she knew of
her father's plans. They told her to get clear when they went in
after him (he was robbing a mall telethon). Spoiler showed up
against Batman's orders and was promptly taken hostage by her
unknowing father. He used her as a hostage until Batman told him
who she was. It caught him off-guard and he was taken in. |

She decided to bring the Huntress out of retirement. Batman saw
her in the subway and followed her incognito. He met up with her
on the trail of the jewel thieves and they agreed to work
together. They busted in on their lair only to learn that it was
the Embassy of the Republic of Krasna-Volny. |

Batman dropped
some smoke pellets and they made their escape. Posing as a
technician looking for a gas leak, Batman discovered crates of
weapons in their basement. Batman and Huntress did some
surveillance on the "ambassadors." The next night,
they broke up their score - a suicide bombing. Huntress put the
bomber in a van and drove it into the harbor for it to explode.
Batman did not approve of her letting the man die. |
