(occurring
simultaneously with Batman 450)
Batman and Gordon discovered a murder victim that appeared
to be a part of some sort of ritual on the night of the Penguin's
bird attacks. Batman found another victim in the same fashion and
also heard of a strange "red-hooded gunman" loose in
Gotham City. At the plane crash site (see Detective 615), Batman
found an archaeologist who spoke of "dragon lines." Both
ritual deaths had occurred on one of these lines. They were too
late at the next location, and they thought the next would be at
Wayne Manor. A deer was found dead there. Next on the line was the
archeologist's home. Batman stopped the being by separating it
from it's magical scepter. It fell into the harbor. Batman
realized Joker was on the loose (Red-Hood). |
