| Storyline |
Dr. Thompkins' clinic was
brought to a pressure point when Huntress, Pettit, Batman, Croc, and Zsasz
all came together there. Zsasz was captured, and Killer Croc fled.
Detective Bock fought to get medical supplies for Gothamites; he made a
deal with Penguin to fight one of his gladiators. Bock won and his sick
got passage to Bludhaven. Bane set out to destroy the Hall of Records,
while attempting to set all rival gangs against Two-Face's men. He
succeeded in destroying the Hall of Records while Batman and Robin saved
Harvey Dent from the hangman's noose. Nightwing and Robin took out some
long dead gangsters who'd come back to life during some sort of
supernatural happening. Batman took down a man who was selling people safe
passage form Gotham - his safe passage was to a dungeon. Clark Kent
visited Gotham. When questioned by Batman, he said he was checking up on a
bio-terrorist group. Two-Face made a move on the Blue Boys and captured
Gordon. He put the commissioner on trial, but Harvey Dent got Gordon
acquitted. The BatSquad saved Gordon's people in his absence. Gordon and
Batman made up. Bruce took his mask off in a gesture of trust, but James
refused to look at him. The two old friends planned an attack on the
Joker. As the federal government debated the NML, Lex Luthor showed up to
"rebuild" Gotham. |
