Gotham's new
DA reopened the Alberto "Holiday" Falcone case. He was released
into the custody of his brother. The Falcone family made an assassination
attempt on Harvey Dent at Arkham Asylum. A policeman and the former
commissioner were found dead - hanged, both with a note. The Hang-man
killer continued knocking off cops and former cops. Batman witnessed
Two-Face cut Gordon down from a noose, Gordon would not let Batman believe
that Dent was the killer. Bruce Wayne witnessed the deaths of Dick
Grayson's parents and took the boy in. Though he lost more officers,
Gordon captured Dent. Batman revealed himself as Bruce Wayne to Dick
Grayson. Dent escaped custody during his trial; he then shot DA Porter
(whom he'd been sleeping with) dead. Catwoman and Batman discovered that
Sofia Gigante Falcone was the Hangman. Dent killed her, then he and his
partners-in-crime escaped (unknowingly) into the Batcave. Dick and Batman
defeated them all. Batman gained a partner: Robin. |
