| Storyline |
After the
death of Robin (Jason Todd), Batman continues his thoughtless rampage.
After being reminded by Alfred, he began being a detective again -
Two-Face was at work. A mysterious young boy began tracking Batman
(calling him "Bruce"), and looking for Nightwing. After Dick
left the Titans, he went to Haly's Circus. The young boy tracked him there
and confronted him with pictures of Batman. The boy knew he was once
Robin, and knew about the last Robin. Dick became co-owner of the circus.
Tim Drake (the boy's name) came clean to Dick about what he knew and how
he knew it. Dick took Tim to Wayne Manor, then to the Batcave before
leaving him with Alfred to find Batman. Tim convinced Dick that Batman
needed Robin to survive. Batman and Two-Face continued to cross paths
without confrontation. The former Dynamic Duo were lured into Two-Face's
trap. When he got them there, he detonated it, leaving them under rubble.
Tim took the Robin costume and convinced Alfred to take him to where their
homing devices left off. There, he confronted Two-Face (who retreated) and
rescued Batman and Nightwing. Robin slipped a homing device on Dent, and
the three tracked him down and captured him. Back at Wayne Manor, Tim's
future as a crime fighter was discussed. |
