After killing a handful of workers, they torched it. Oracle

Bruce knew that
Jean Paul was innocent. He took him back to the cave; they
discussed things. Jeremiah Thompkins learned the history of The
Order of St. Dumas and ordered his Azrael to kill Lilhy. Both
Azrael and Jean Paul got to Lilhy at the same time. Thompkins
ordered Azrael to kill them both. |

Batman appeared as
a handiman. Azrael escaped, Lilhy "accidentally" shot
Jean Paul, and Thompkins was taken into custody (later to be
broken free by Azrael). Batman took Jean Paul back to the cave
and got him a new costume. Azrael (Jean Paul) tracked the others
down - he saved Lilhy, killed Azrael (the other one) in combat,
and Thompkins escaped. |

A biker gang
rolled through Ossaville (the small town near where Azrael
lived) looking for one of their member's uncle Tito. When the
local sheriff did not know him, they killed him. Batman brought
Harold to Azrael to help him fix up his new home (a castle built
by the Order of St. Dumas). Azrael found the dying sheriff and
took down the biker gang. |

Azrael began
investigation a nearby town where people were becoming
mysteriously ill. With help from Oracle, he learned of a
corporation that was no longer properly disposing of their toxic
waste. He discovered the man behind it, a trucker named Prymm.
They fought and ended up both falling into the waste. when
Azrael awakened, everyone else was gone. The illegal dumping was
reported and the feds began cleaning up. |

teacher quit the next day in order to seek out the

After "icing
some old guy" at a robbery (in a fake Azrael costume), the
group intentionally left a trail. News outlets began reporting
the Azrael robbery. With Oracle's help, he followed their trail
into their trap. The former school teacher (dressed as the
Egyptian god Sobek) put him in a dungeon with crocodiles. |

Azrael got out of
the pit and passed the next few "tests" before being
gassed by Garm (the former teacher). For the next few days, Garm
ran tests on Jean Paul and kept him heavily sedated. Jean Paul
woke up and told Garm the story of his powers being mentally
triggered by his costume. Garm took the bait and suited him up.
Azrael was able to break free and escape (the bad guys got
away). Back home, Jean Paul found that his "brother"
Azrael's grave had been robbed. |

Jean Paul realized
he'd been asleep for two days and took Harold to Dr. Thompkins
(he'd been injured trying to fight off the grave robbers). He
realized that Garm had placed a tracking device in his costume.
He followed a lead provided by Oracle and found Garm and his men
in an abandoned lighthouse. Though Garm again escaped, Azrael
recovered his "brother's" body. |

Lilhy visited Joker in the Slab and was affected by his gas. She
went to Brian Bryan for his opinion on what made people evil.
Lilhy, in an Azrael costume, attacked a retirement home. Brian
called Jean Paul and warned him of it. He (as Azrael) got there
as the Joker gas was wearing off. Lilhy helped him put out the
fire. |
