Storyline: Nightshade teleported herself and Johnny Warlock away. Blue Devil appeared in her place. He, Robin, and Ragman went looking for the Warlock's Daughter as the General's team was on clean-up duty. They caught a couple of meta-humans. One, Thunderhand, talked about how they'd been abducted by OMACs and systematically killed. He and about sixty others escaped them after they began shutting off. After, they killed all the reverted-to-human-OMACs. Ragman absorbed him. They soon found Laura and she was invited to join the Shadowpact members. They then found the missing 60+ metas...

Storyline: Robin, Laura, Blue Devil, and Ragman began work on the supervillains who'd escaped. The General and his men found plenty to keep them busy, as well. One of Robin's foes, the Curator, turned many of the villains into stone simply by looking at them. Robin knew of this man and was able to defeat him with his eyes closed. Soon afterwards, he was knocked unconscious by the water powers of "Monsoon." Laura's CPR revived him. They grouped back up with the General's team. Wonder Girl flew in and told Robin there was an emergency.

Storyline: As the Titans' jet landed at their headquarters, Robin wondered about his family in Bludhaven. Superboy was in bad shape after his fight with the "other" Superboy (Prime) - he didn't "recharge" as quickly as Superman. Knowing that Luthor had a part in his creation, Robin realized there would definitely be a cure in one of Lex's labs. Raven had been unable to aide the healing process due to the Spectre's attack on magic. Once inside the nearest lab, the group (Robin, Speedy, Wonder Girl, and Beast Boy) were attacked by "guards." Wonder Girl took care of the robots. While searching for their cure, Speedy asked them to keep their eyes open for a possible cure for her condition (HIV). A creature (Brainiac) attacked. Batman contacted the General, who's team was leaving Bludhaven, for a status report.

Storyline: The Brainiac creature attacked the Titans in Luthor's lab. Wonder Girl feared her powers were fading due to the disappearance of Paradise Island. Speedy finally defeated the monster. As they made their exit, another Brainiac experiment caught sight of them and attacked. After finally getting back to the tower, the Titans administered the cure to Superboy. Robin finally broke down after days without sleep. Luthor contacted Robin and told him another dose of that cure would kill him. Robin then contacted the General with his answer.

Robin was attacked. Floodlights temporarily blinded him, so he threw Rs at where the attackers legs should have been. When he got his vision back, Batgirl was laying dead with his darts in her neck. He found the victim to be Lynx (not Cassie), and she'd been dead for at least three hours. The police found him at the scene, but he escaped. One commented "First Nightwing, now you?" (see Nightwing 118) Oracle heard the police dispatch and sent out a message to everyone. Somewhere in Northern Africa, the car Nyssa al Ghul was entering exploded. Tim made it back to his apartment (what used to be stables on Wayne Manor's estate. Alfred helped tend his wounds. He learned that Bruce and Dick had returned the previous day. Tim reminded Alfred of his own detective skills and told him he'd be taking the case. He met Batman on a rooftop. They discussed the situation and him disappearing on Batman and Nightwing in Budapest - Tim (not Robin) had received a note that Cassie was in trouble. With her now missing, Batman's first instinct was David Cain being involved, but he was still in Blackgate. Tim told Batman he'd be taking the case (much like he'd told Alfred). As Batman left, he told Tim to ask for help if he needed it. Robin got back in costume and headed into police HQ as third shift was getting briefed.

Storyline: Robin made his way toward the evidence room. He got to the fake costume and was spotted. A shot was fired and the entire force was in pursuit. He escaped by putting on a cop uniform. Back at his place near Wayne Manor, Tim was surprised by Lady Shiva. She said the League of Assassins was at play - Nyssa al Ghul had been killed in a car bomb. A woman who cut a man and stole his wallet was killed by an unseen assailant calling her "sister" and speaking about her training. After Shiva left, Robin found a coded message on the costume: [i]We have Cassandra Cain bring David Cain to the Blaisdell oil fields at ten pm June seven or she dies tell no one or she dies. [/i]

Storyline: Robin waded through the sewers en route to Blackgate Prison. Once in, he opened David Cain's cell and drop kicked him. He knew nothing about where Cassandra was. They were met by the League of Assassins at the drop-off spot. By the time Robin was captured, Cassandra showed herself. She'd had Lynx and Nyssa killed after finding out about her twin sister, Annelea. She then killed her. Cassandra wanted to recruit Robin so they could be partners killing those who needed to be killed. She put a gun in his hand and told him to kill Cain.

Storyline: Robin refused to shoot; he and Cassandra struggled over the gun. She got control of it and shot her father. Before he died, he said Cassandra and her sister weren't the only one's he raised / trained. A new "superhero" debuted in Gotham. He appeared to have the ability to teleport / disappear. Another man claimed he used to work for the Joker and a bomb would soon detonate and destroy the city. Robin had to set some explosives to get free from the League, but Cassandra caught up to him. Their fight continued through a second explosion that blew them away from each other. Robin escaped not knowing whether Cassandra had survived or not. He found the League dead - their necks were broken. Cain's body was gone. He videotaped the whole thing, making him sure he could clear his name. Back in the city, Robin's informant gave him the boomerang. He knew immediately it was from Captain Boomerang, Jr., the son of the man who'd killed his father.

Storyline: Robin left a trail for Boomerang to find, but he never did. He changed clothes and met with his new tutor (due to family situations, he'd missed a lot of school). They both soon realized he didn't need a tutor, but he wanted to stay in good graces with his new school. Afterwards, he began moving into the Manor. He and Bruce talked about the adoption and Cassandra. Robin met with officer Harper. She showed him the former Joker henchman, and his story about the bomb was feasible. At the location, he found what could be the bomb - his Geiger counter pinned out when he got close. He grabbed it and headed out. On the roof, Boomerang confronted him. Robin knocked him sideways and told him he didn't have time; Boomer insisted they team up on the bomb issue.

Storyline: Boomer got Robin a list of probable supervillain hideouts from when he was in the Society. He took it through his snitch and Batman to knock some of the items off the list. After going through a couple, they bumped into a boy calling himself Dodge (the teleporter). He introduced himself as Robin's new sidekick. After a bit, they finally blew him off. They visited old booby-trapped hideouts once belonging to Mad Hatter, Glassman, Dr. Double X, Dr. Phosphorous, Scarecrow, Cavalier, and Killer Croc. They finally hit paydirt at an old Ventriloquist place. They survived all the booby traps (including shooting Scarface robots) and got the bomb defused. Somewhere along the way, Robin realized he and Boomer made a good team.

Storyline: Robin moved in on some kidnappers who were in the process of grabbing their fifth kid. The wannabe hero Dodge appeared and wrecked the takedown. Robin tried to talk to the kid, but he teleported away. Tim set himself up to be the next victim - all the previous kidnappings were of rich kids. Batman got the word, but could not track him, as his transponder was damaged. He prepared to make a "tearful televised appeal." Tim was quick to make a scene and an escape attempt. After taking some punches, he was taken to his own cell, away from the other kids. Robin "showed up." As he prepared to make his move, Dodge appeared.

Storyline: Dodge got himself grappled by one of the thugs; Robin took down the others while staying in the shadows. Robin showed himself; Dodge teleported. As Robin gave chase, he continued to try and get the boy away (who mentioned that his "power" was actually tech: his father had created a teleportation belt). Dodge attacked Torrance, the ringleader. He opened fire, Dodge teleported, and Torrance hit one of the hostages. Robin threw shrapnel which hit not only Torrance, but also Dodge's belt. He ordered the injured kid to find a phone and call 911. Paramedics arrived and treated the shot kid, but Dodge was encountering strange problems due to the belt. He was taken away to a meta-injures facility.
