Issue #5

Cover Date: October 2001
Subtitle: Deadline
Writer(s): Steve Vance
Artists(s): Leonard Kirk, Rick Burchett
Storyline: Deadman was summoned once more - by the Spectre (Hal Jordan). Each of the summons had been by him - time was irrelevant. Deadman met with one of his old buddies, Max Loomis, and learned Caldera was still alive, so the events had not yet transpired. Neron had only recently been demoted to "rhyming demon," it was possible he'd been time travelling.
The two got to Caldera and witnessed his death due to his own spell.
