| Storyline |
A
series of gang murders was pinned on Batman,
due to the killer wearing a cape. Bruce reminisced
about a lost love who he may have seen in Gotham
(she left the country with her father shortly
after Bruce proposed to her - pre-Batman). A
gangster once partnered with her father made
a deal with the Joker for protection from Batman.
It turned out that her father had already been
killed, and she was the Phantasm (and extracting
revenge for her father's death). Batman figured
it out and caught up with her and Joker dueling
it out. The place exploded and Batman left them
for dead. |
