storyline In an attempt to break Joker out of Arkham, Harley Quinn dons a doctor's outfit and convinces everyone she's going to cure him. The breakout was almost successful, but Batman foiled it after some councilmen went insane hours after meeting with the "doctor."

storyline Bruce and Talia met accidentally in Macao. The traveled looking for Ra's al Ghul, but were convinced he'd been killed. A device that could destroy everything electromagnetic was discovered in their journey. Talia double-crossed Bruce by attempting to activate it in her father's memory. Ra's appeared and Batman destroyed it.

storyline A crook with part of a map began looking for the rest of it. When he heard that Mastermind had taken it, he posed as a reporter and interviewed him inside prison. Mastermind figured out what was going on and after a lengthy tale, sent him to Mr. Nice. Mr. Nice (again after a lengthy tale) said it was Perfesser that had taken it. Mastermind had it all the time, and upon breakout, the original crook's girlfriend took the map from them. They all met up at the location only to have Batman lurking in the darkness waiting for them.

storyline Anarky struck Gotham by pirating TV broadcasts and setting up polls on whether or not "criminals" should be convicted. Robin was able to take him down solo while Bruce was one of his captives.

storyline Bruce, his girlfriend, and her son were mugged after seeing a movie. Bruce got them to safety and bolted. As batman, he took down the man who robbed them. He brought the kid back his things and let him know that he was safe and the bad guy got caught. Bruce couldn't make it up to his girlfriend and she left him.

storyline Batman tracked Dr. Hugo Strange and Catwoman, who were after the same diamond. Strange was needing it to build a memory altering device, Catwoman saved Batman, who was zapped by it.

storyline After saving Batman, Catwoman convinced him he was her partner, and they began stealing things. Gordon and Robin figured it out and Dick rescued Bruce. Back in the cave, he and Alfred told him he was Batman.

storyline Robin enlisted another scientist to try and reconstruct what Strange had created. With a little luck and the diamond that Catwoman stole from Strange, Batman got his memories back. Strange (he'd cracked his own mind on his machine) was taken in, and Catwoman's relationship with Batman was back to normal.
