Robin fooled Ra's al Ghul by infiltrating his legions.
Al Ghul set up a satellite that would detonate explosives
in Arctic regions, causing the ice to flow and melt
(thus flooding much of the earth). The Demon escaped,
but his plans were again shattered. |

was going to go after some nuclear warheads while Mastermind
and Perfesser led the cops and Batman on a wild goose
chase. Even though Mr. Nice promised to not be nice,

Emile Dorian escaped. He captured Kirk Langstrom and
transformed him into Man-Bat again. Under Dorian's control,
Man-Bat captured Batman and Selina Kyle - Dorian was
planning something special for him. Some of the scientists
other experiments (including his son) attacked and destroyed
the lab, Batman and Selina escaped. |

Dent escaped from Arkham. He began creating a gang in
order to take over Gotham's underworld by making a jail
break. Batman knew there'd be another jailbreak, and
he met up with his old friend at the second. Batman
tried to reach the Harvey left in Two-Face as he captured

and Lex Luthor were bidding on the same contract when
Maxie Zeus threatened to cause an earthquake underneath
Gotham. Superman (who was at the gala as reporter Clark
Kent) teamed up with Batman to uncover what was going
on. They stopped Zeus and discovered Luthor was behind
it. Batman strong-armed Luthor into retracting his bid,
and Bruce Wayne did the same the next day. |
