Superman
got the President to safety, but realized he could
not break through the force field and rejoin his
team. Batman and Wonder Woman somehow broke through
and got back into the city. She'd secured an antidote
for Nemesis. Batman told her Circe was still at
play, but she insisted the sorceress was dead.
Grace was told she was Bana. Superman told her the
Bana were not against the war - they were responsible
for the California and Kansas attacks. They moved
away from him through the force field. The Bana
stabbed Grace and left her behind. They then regrouped
with the Amazons.
Circe made her reappearance, but Batman, using Zatanna's
magic, was able to stop her briefly. The force field
went down. |
