Storyline

The Man of Steel 2: The Story of the Century
Lois Lane and her boss, Perry White, saw this Superman flying nearby while having lunch. Lois gave chase (and brushed off a meeting with Lex Luthor), but was unable to get a better glimpse. Superman's appearances became more and more frequent in the coming days, and Lois Lane continued to be one step behind him. In order to get an interview with him, she drove her car off a pier and had him rescue her. She got an interview, but was scooped by the Daily Planet's newest employee, Clark Kent.

Superman Annual #1: Tears for Titano
Lois Lane visited a scientist who was performing experiments on an ape. She scolded him, but he told her they were perfectly legit and the ape was not being harmed. It escaped and latched on to Lois, who appeared to be the only one who wasn't trying to hurt him. They finally got Titano under control, and Lois was escorted out by Amanda Waller.
Nearby, Superman spotted a tank attacking a bank. He stopped it, but the battle knocked out some power. He flew into a building where he saw trouble and found the scientists still experimenting on Titano. He rescued the guards, but Titano got free and attacked Dr. Moyers. He noticed the ape had grown. Superman struggled with it, and they fell together to the street below. The ape grew again. Lois heard a dispatch on the situation and headed that way.
Superman continued to battle Titano and was able to convince the armed forces to let him handle the ape. Lois arrived, and as soon as it recognized her, he calmed down. Moyers ordered an attack; Titano was blasted. The ray shrunk him down to normal size, and he died in Lois's arms.

Superman #9: Metropolis - 900 Mi
Lex Luthor visited a diner he owned outside Metropolis. He offered his waitress $1million if she'd come back to the city with him for a month. She refused - she was married. He told her he'd wait in his car for 10 minutes while she decided.
The girl talked it over with her co-workers and called her husband. When she looked out the window, Luthor's car was gone. He laughed with his driver about the games he played.

Superman #11: The Name Game
Lois went out with a man she'd never met. She was so captivated by him that she failed to see the strange occurrences that were going on around them. He asked her to marry him. He saw someone more attractive - a mannequin. The display came alive, and he replaced it with Lois.
Superman caught up with the man Lois had gone out with - he claimed responsibility for the strange things, then turned into a small impish man with a funny hat. He claimed to be from a parallel fifth dimension. He said he'd go back home if Superman could get him to use his name (Mr. Mxyzptlk) backwards. Superman rewired a giant typewriter and got him to type it backwards.
Lois, feeling bad about putting Clark off for the fake man, went to his apartment to make him dinner. Cat had beaten her to him.

Action #600: Lois Lane
Lois single-handedly took down a big time fugitive and two of his goons, but her story didn't get the front page: the romance between Superman and Wonder Woman did. Lois, dejected, headed home. Clark stopped by to visit her later. While she showered, he headed off - he heard Jimmy's signal ring.

AoS #445: Headhunter
Jimmy Olsen began a story on the disappearance of homeless people when one of his friends went missing. He bumped into Cat on his way out - she was on her way in. Perry asked her to get some help with her drinking.
Jimmy got a lead from the cops - they'd found the bodies of several other homeless people. It appeared a serial killer was on the loose.
Jerry and Jose talked about Lois. Jose thought his date with her was out of pity. While she was on her way up, Delgado received a call that someone wanted to experiment on him with microchips.
Brainiac, as the killer was calling himself (one personality of a MPD sufferer) attacked a homeless man outside a bar where Cat had been. Jimmy, who was to have met her there earlier, saw the killer grab her. He activated his signal watch and Superman headed their direction. Brainiac / Vril Dox attacked Superman and began to get into his mind. Superman defeated Dox; Jimmy and Cat got free.

AoS #462: Homeless for the Holidays
Superman helped some construction workers finish up a job after one of their machines broke down. He then got out of costume and headed to the Planet for his last day of work. The crew threw him a surprise party.
Afterwards, Clark found Alice in a storage closet. She opened up to him that she was living there. She told him, Perry, Lois, and Jimmy that she'd been living there for three years trying to pay off her mother's medical bills and funeral costs.
Perry wrote an editorial and let her stay at his home while he petitioned management for back pay (she'd been working on her own there after everyone was gone).
Clark headed home to spend Christmas with his parents and Lana.

AoS #466: The Limits of Power
A space shuttle crashed during reentry. The astronauts survived, but experienced a weird radiation - one's hair turned completely white, two had their entire bodies mutated (one ended up with no mass, the other appeared to be made of earth). They headed to Metropolis - Lexcorp funded the experiment.
Clark had dinner at Lois' apartment. The White's stopped by for an unexpected visit. Alice was very forthcoming with her displeasure with Clark for leaving the Daily Planet.
Word got out that four radiated freaks were trying to break into Lexcorp. Superman was quick to the scene. Hank Henshaw, one of the astronauts, introduced himself and explained things to Superman. The Man of Steel agreed to help.
Jose Delgado visited Cat Grant to tell her he'd been hired to be her bodyguard during the upcoming trial (as Gangbuster).
One of the astronauts (the one with no mass) flipped out and flew himself into the sun. Henshaw died conducting experiments, and the earth creature also committed suicide. Only the female, Terri, survived.
Lois returned to her apartment; Clark was still there. He kissed her.

Action #655: Survival
Clark got a funny feeling when Lois stood him up for dinner with his parents. He changed clothes and flew to Metropolis. He got a lead on her from an army guy saying something about some hardware which had been disappearing of late.
Lois had hopped onto one of the trucks, which entered a huge underground compound. She was captured. Superman saved her and took down the militants.

Notes, references to time, and chronology:
This is not based on the tv series, but the opposite: it claims "the stories that inspired the hit ABC television show." It includes an introduction by John Byrne. Also of note, this is not one continuous story, but a collection of stories.
Action #600 alludes to Wonder Woman's peace tour and her meeting with Superman in Boston.
Action 600: "Just a few weeks ago, Clark Kent's parents told me that they'd secretly raised Superman from a baby ... that he and Kent were like step-brothers." (Lois, internal)
