Checkmate caught up to him by the time he'd freed Grace. They were led to a meeting room where the rest of the team waited to be "briefed." They were sending the Outsiders to Oolong Island to shut down the operations there. The Pequod was attacked by a giant sea monster on it's approach.

Nightwing and Sasha's team got into the lab and began uplinking the data to Checkmate. Mr. Terrific had to take the Castle off the network so that the data didn't steal their own data - the Oolong facility knew about the operation.

Boomer, Nightwing, and Sasha were captured, but the others (and the data) escaped.

Issue Checkmate 15 Subtitle Check Out part 5 Date August 2007 Writer(s) Greg Rucka, Judd Winick Artist(s) Joe Bennet, Jack Jadson storyline Immortal Man in Darkness and August General (of the Great Ten) were involved with the Oolong facility - AG worked with Chang Tzu torturing and experimenting on Sasha and Boomer. IMID and some fighter jets surrounded the Pequod. Back at the Castle, the Chinese ambassador assured Mr. Terrific that his country was an innocent bystander, but would help his men do what they needed. IMID led the Pequod into North Korea to reclaim their operatives. Batman entered the picture.

Batman used the Pequod as a diversion for himself - he got into Dr. Chang's facility and rescued Sasha. After the ordeal was over, Nightwing talked to Batman about taking over the Outsiders - he did not enjoy working with them.
