fighting, and a geomancer called forth a great serpent.
The armies banded together to fight the threat. A great
swordsman was killed after he cut a single scale from
the beast, then it was killed by an archer who hit the
unprotected spot. When the beast fell, the world broke
into the six continents.
Hoon's employer was inviting the world's greatest archers

She blacked one of his eyes.
Connor met a Kyudo master named Honduro Kishu. He accepted
an invitation to train with him. He later finally met
up with Shado. They talked about his father, Oliver
Queen. As they talked, she took an arrow in the thigh.
Connor chased off the attackers and carried her back
to get medical attention.
Kishu met Peng Li Zhao in his office. They spoke of
the legend in which the competition honored.

Brandy
and Eddie continued to watch the competitions - all
but six had been eliminated. Connor agreed to have dinner
with Libby after a lesson with Kishu. The master told
Connor to trust no one and to believe the dragon was
real.
After dinner, Connor returned to his room. Shado was
there. She told him about her son - his step-brother.
She asked his help in protecting Tak Tomonago (Robert).
Libby came to the door to find them kissing. She fell
- an arrow stuck in her side. Connor ran out to find
her killer. Though it was Crowfoot's arrow, he was not
the shooter. The group soon realized that everyone had
missing arrows. Connor and Eddie realized the Bamboo
Monkey was at work. Connor caught up with the Bamboo
Monkey, but he said his cult was innocent. Before he
could say anything else, three arrows pierced him. He,
Shado, and Crowfoot went after the assassins and were
attacked by dozens more. |

As
the three ran for cover, Shado was certain that they
were not her enemies. The archers chased the three competitors
back into their hotel. They regrouped. Kishu shot two
down that were taking aim on them, then was killed from
behind. Zhao came out and declared the competition over
- Hawke was the winner and would go forward alone. He
had Shado's son - his own half-brother - hostage.
Connor was taken to Zhao Tower and given the arrow that
must slay the dragon.
Eddie, Crowfoot, and Brandy met with an arms dealer
and loaded up.
Celestial bodies lined up, and Connor was given his
arrow. The dragon emerged from the earth. |

Connor
fled looking for good footing. Zhao realized it was
a new dragon, no scales were missing like the one in
the legend. The magic arrow hit, but fell away. Eddie
arrived with a rocket launcher and fired on the beast.
Shado got the arrow back to him - his second shot killed
the dragon.
Shado then told him the legend he heard was incomplete
- it did not end with the death of the dragon. |
