Dibny
and Fate visited the Spectre. Ralph begged for
his wife back. The wrath of god took Ralph to
Jean Loring and asked him to exact revenge on
her.
Skeets tracked down Waverider. The mad robot
killed Time Commander and Clock Queen.
Renee continued her training under Richard Dragon
in Nanda Parbat. She realized Charlie was in
bad health - he told her he didn't have long
left and that he'd know about his lung cancer
for seven months. Tot poured over the Crime
Bible Charlie had grabbed. It mentioned Gotham,
it's missing Knight-protector, and a "twice
named daughter of Cain." Renee flipped out believing
the passage spoke of Kate's death.
Ralph trapped Jean in a time loop so she had
to watch Sue die over and over for an eternity.
Spectre brought them both back - he'd ordered
Dibny to kill her. Ralph told Fate to take him
to Nanda Parbat.

Renee
and Charlie set up shop in Gotham. She used
a makeshift batsignal to call for Kate. They
showed her the page from the Crime Bible depicting
her death.
Intergang moved in on a location in Australia,
but one of the locals brought out his robot
(with Red Tornado's head still stuck saying
"52" over and over). The robot was defeated
and the locals were carted off by the police
who'd been paid by Intergang.
Ekron attacked Lobo and the space heroes.
It turned out to be a Green Lantern - its
eye was it's only weapon, without it, the
space sector it was assigned to had been destroyed.
Batwoman and "the Questions" attacked Mannheim's
operation. He'd was not ready for the Batwoman's
companions yet.

The
JSA (Flash, Green Lantern, and Wildcat) threw
in the towel as Luthor's Infinity, Inc. and
the rest of his Everyman project paraded by
on Thanksgiving. Infinity, Inc. introduced
their newest member - Jade. Alan was not happy
that someone was infringing on his daughter's
legacy. Obsidian a[[eared and attacked - he
couldn't stand that someone was using his
sister's name. Alan stopped his son and the
JSA flew away.
Chang Tzu interrupted the mad scientists'
Thanksgiving meal. He (it?) took Magnus' pills
so he could no longer suppress his manic nature
because he'd so far done nothing with his
assignment (create another plutonium robot).
A man who'd been granted Everyman powers spoke
with Dr. Mid-Nite - Luthor had "turned them
off." John Henry's steel skin began to peel
off. |

While
looking for Batman, Nightwing and Robin discussed
Bruce's problems. After all that had happened,
"he lost it. In the end, he just lost it."
Tim believed he was training them to be the
next Batman and Robin. They found his cape
and cowl, which had been discarded.
Kate insisted that Renee and Charlie stay
with her. She had a private doctor come in
and check on him; she recommended putting
him in a hospital.
Once they realized Intergang had taken over
Gotham City, Nightwing decided to stay. Robin
went back to look for Bruce.
In a desert, Bruce encountered a man with
eyes on his fingertips. They'd met years before
while Bruce trained. When Robin finally found
him, he was told that the ten-eyed men had
cut out his demon - the Batman was gone.
Nightwing caught up with the Batwoman, who
was battling monsters and looking for Mannheim.
They formed a plan to search out Intergang's
leader.

Green Lanterns encountered Captain Comet while
looking for one of their own who'd gone missing.
The Guardians called them back when they realized
a threat from beyond spacetime was emerging.
A few members of Infinity, Inc. discussed
another of their members - Everyman. They
were a bit crept out about him. Everyman could
only shape-shift into a creature which he'd
eaten a part of.
Ralph and Fate found Wonder Girl. The "Cult
of Conner" had broken up shortly after Ralph
left - Cassie found out their leader was a
con-man. He asked about the Everyman project;
she told him Conner was back and calling himself
Supernova. Ralph later confronted Supernova,
knowing who he really was.
With one of the two GLs down, the second called
for backup. He was denied and his ring was
deactivated.

Ralph
and Fate visited the Flash museum. He'd donated
much of his stuff to it, and he took back
a pistol.
As a Christmas gift, Nightwing gave Batwoman
a "real" batarang.
Luthor was given a report on one of the Everymen.
Though he passed the screening, his body was
rejecting the metagene treatment. He presented
his Infinity Inc team cars. $250,000 cars.
As he dreamed of becoming superhuman, he got
a report that the dying test subject had pulled
through. Luthor's interest was piqued. He
ordered them to harvest his organs and drain
his spinal fluid.
Charlie continued to fall in and out of "reality."
Kate attempted to console Renee.
Across the world, Christmas was celebrated.
Gotham City Police Department welcomed James
Gordon back as Commissioner. The Black Adam
Family, in hopes of changing the world's view
of them, set up a meeting with the JSA and
Teen Titans. In front of a large crowd, they
called down the lightning and stood before
them as normal humans.

Adam
and Isis met Osiris and Sobek - he'd joined
the Teen Titans. The Suicide Squad struck.
Persuader was about to deliver the killing
blow on Isis, but her brother stopped him
by flying through him. The Black Marvels
retreated with Waller getting the entire
incident recorded.
Oracle set Infinity, Inc. up. They were
out on a shopping spree and she had their
credit card declined. "Security" split them
up to keep the press away while Mercy stayed
with the clerk. It gave John Henry just
enough time to plant the seeds of doubt
with Natasha - his steel skin was gone completely
now.
Elsewhere, Clark Kent had been captured
and was given a truth drug. He told them
he didn't know who Supernova was, but he
wasn't Superman. Luthor had his team drug
him more and take him home. He went to the
rooftop to watch his "Everymen" fly through
the skies as the New Year Countdown began.
Renee and Kate got Charlie to a hospital
- he was very near the end.

The
entirety of the Everyman project appeared
to lose their powers at the stroke of midnight.
Luthor looked on approvingly as many fell
from the sky to their deaths. Mass panic broke
out; Supernova began teleporting people safely
outside the city. Somehow, Infinity, Inc.
still had their powers. They began helping
out; Natasha realized her uncle was right.
Heroes from all over began saving people and
getting the injured to medical facilities.
John Henry Irons spoke with Gar Logan and
told him to ready the Titans against Luthor.
Luthor told Infinity, Inc they weren't sure
why so many rejected the metagene therapy
at once, but they were all clean except for
Everyman, who needed more testing. Natasha
convinced one of their own to help her find
out what really happened and get the information
back to her uncle John.
The space heroes found the location from where
they'd received a telepathic message from
Captain Comet. It was destroyed. The Stygian
Horde had destroyed it. Lobo admitted that
Lady Styx had a bounty on the three and prepared
to take them to her. |

her into a suneater. Buddy was injured.
Renee realized she had to get Charlie back
to Nanda Parbat. Kate tried to talk some sense
into her, but it didn't work. She arranged
the flight, but Renee would have to hike them
both into the land with no time.
Sobek tried to comfort Osiris, who was still
completely torn up by what had happened with
the Suicide Squad.

Supernova
exited Kandor to stop Skeets. Before doing
so, he left his costume with Rip Hunter so
some alterations could be made. Supernova
was Booster Gold. He bought Hunter some time
by telling how he'd survived: Rip had showed
up in the lab when Booster was there and told
him the robot was evil. To get away from Skeets
so they could prepare for the inevitable confrontation,
Booster had to be in two places at once. Rip
pulled Booster from the timestream as the
explosion occurred and left his "future" corpse
there in his place. He was then placed in
time 12 weeks previous, and, as Supernova,
created a rivalry with himself. They began
working together to get materials and weapons,
some were already being used by Supernova.
Rip appeared and blasted Skeets with the Phantom
Zone projector. Skeets then "ate" the Phantom
Zone.
Black Canary visited Oliver Queen. She told
him she was heading East for new training.
Gypsy would be filling in for her in the Birds
of Prey.
Lobo conducted a funeral service for Buddy
"Animal Man" Baker. He then parted ways with
Starfire and Adam Strange. They blasted off,
leaving Buddy's body in case he'd been contaminated
with Lady Styx's reanimation. As they left,
Buddy woke up in the presence of two yellow
aliens.
