and Charlie arrived in Kahndaq.
The physician John Henry had been working with
at STAR visited him. He'd completed his niece's
armor. He broke down and blamed himself for
her being under Luthor's control now.
Dr. Magnus refused the government's offer to
purchase the Metal Men and use them as prototypes
for new smart weapons. He headed out to visit
Morrow, but the professor had escaped leaving
only a coded note addressed to Magnus.
Charlie and Renee hit the streets and soon realized
they were being followed. They soon found a
building full of dead guys and believed Abbot
was behind it. When they exited the building,
they were surrounded by police and arrested.
Magnus got Mercury back online.

Booster,
after being fired by another corporate sponsor,
asked Skeets to get him a good comeback mission.
Renee Montoya was escorted from her cell to
her next beating. She freaked out when she
walked past Charlie's cell and it was empty.
He materialized and helped her take down the
guards. She got him free from his cell and
they headed out.
A sea creature was attacking Metropolis. It
had grabbed a nuclear sub and brought it into
the heart of the city. Clark Kent headed in
to cover the story. He watched on as Booster
blew it against the creature. Supernova arrived
and caused the creature to begin to disappear.
Booster attacked Supernova when he attempted
to help the fallen hero. Skeets told them
the sub was about to explode; Booster grabbed
it and flew into the sky where it exploded.
Supernova caught him as he fell - only bones
in a costume remained.

Adam proposed to Isis in a garden the freed

she heard about the wedding, realized Intergang
would target it. Isis spoke with her maid
of honor, Mary Marvel, while Adam consulted
Billy. Montoya and Charlie neared, Renee began
to believe Intergang would target the crowd
with a suicide bomber. She saw the bomber
and took the shot - she was just a kid. Renee

Luthor's
super team attacked and thwarted a Kobra attack
on an airforce base. Afterwards, the speedster
lashed out at Luthor.
The space heroes encountered a meteor storm
or asteroid belt. Adam confided in them that
their ship was only a "lifeboat" and that
he was hoping to find a friendly port before
they ran out of air - there was no way they'd
get home in their ship. Devilance found them
and attacked. He, in turn, was attacked by
Lobo. After he killed Devilance, Kory persuaded
Lobo to help them. She informed the others
that he'd joined a church and had turned his
back on violence.
Some natives found the remains of Red Tornado.
He came online and sputtered "52" a couple
of times.

Dr.
Fate's helmet was found in the House of Mystery
by Detective Chimp, Terri Thirteen, and Edogawa
Sangaku.
Charlie and Montoya were awarded medals for
their part in stopping the suicide bomber.
Montoya was strangely absent at the ceremony,
but Black Adam found her in bed with one of
his citizens. In her drunken state, she insulted
him; Isis had to stop him from ripping her
apart. Charlie brought up Intergang and their
use of children. All four of them agreed they
must be stopped.
Detective Chimp called on Ralph for help in
the Dr. Fate situation. Ralph told him they'd
need the help of the Shadowpact.
At Booster's funeral (it took some time to
find a location which would hold it), Skeets
found one of his ancestors, Daniel Carter.
The helmet offered itself and its challenges
to Ralph, who accepted. He left with it as
the Shadowpact looked on questioningly (they
didn't hear it).

Skeets
showed up at Daniel Carter's home. He was
hesitant to join the robot, but Skeets offered
to make him a superhero.
The space heroes joined Lobo on his new home
planet in sector 3500. Adam wasn't buying
into his whole "religion" bit.
Supernova and Wonder Girl teamed up to stop
Weather Wizard from a bank robbery and flood.
She believed him to be Superboy returned from
the dead.
Skeets led Daniel to Rip Hunter's lab. He
had him scan the insides with Booster's Goggles
so he could record it. Skeets left him there
and flew off muttering "he knows."
Daniel set off an alarm and was pulled into
a vortex.

Supernova
visited Wayne Manor and the Batcave. No one
was home at either place.
John Henry Irons, with his new steel skin,
saved a group of firefighters from a burning
building. STAR Labs caught up with him shortly
thereafter and explained that Luthor could
not only give people super powers, but he
could take them away just as easily.
Lobo's church was attacked. While the others
battled, Starfire drove the creatures away
by using a huge dismembered eyeball (the Emerald
Eye of Ekron) that Lobo had in his possession.
The former owner of the eye felt it being
used. Lobo, after regenerating himself, scolded
her and told her they'd all die because of
its use. He ordered everyone onto their spaceship
- they had to evacuate before Ekron homed
in on them.

they were successful, the Teen Titans (Power

Lexcorp
officials brought data to Luthor - Supernova
was his son, Kon-el. They'd captured a recording
of him with Wonder Girl, where she'd called
him by that name. Luthor grabbed the man by

just outside his window with his arms crossed
over his chest. Luthor believed he was Superman
taking on a new guise just to bother him.
He ordered metagene tests on himself.
A Native American gentleman stopped a convicted
rapist from bothering a woman on a bus ride

Dr.
Magnus was brought to Oolong Island by giant
robots. Once there, he was greeted by TO Morrow.
All the missing mad scientists were there.
They had an unlimited budget and were "creating
the future."
Renee and Charlie looked in on a cult (part
of Intergang) who were reading from the "Crime
Bible." Renee recognized Whisper A'Daire,
and they were about to sacrifice Isis's brother.
His legs were broken before the two intruders
were found. Charlie grabbed the book as Black
Adam and Isis arrived on the scene. Isis healed
a wound Renee sustained and went below to
find her brother. As she tended him, she stopped
Adam from torturing and killing Amon's captors.
She could not heal her brother - his wounds
were too deep. Black Adam had the boy say
his name. Lightning struck and he stood before
them borne anew as Osiris. Isis's happiness
bloomed inside the dungeon. Flowers replaced
the rain that had been falling while she cried.
Together, the Black Adam family flew off to
China to start changing the world.

of the Great Ten of China. They were not impressed
with what he had to say.
The new JLA were called into action against
some time-displaced pirates, then some of
