Film
Freak reinvisioned his film - he was now the lead character.
He then killed his cameraman.
Selina woke up from a nightmare where she was riding
Smart Bomb and he was shot down. Ted Grant was knocking
on her door: Holly had been arrested for the murder
of Black Mask.
Lenahan, the man who pegged Catwoman for Black Mask's
murder, didn't believe the woman they had in custody
was the same Catwoman. Police got word that two cops
had been killed by a falling building while chasing
a man who'd stolen a pack of gum from a convenience
store.
Selina got into costume when Ted refused to call in
the JSA. She left him with the baby and headed out.
She found Slam passed out drunk in his office. He had
no one left on the force that could do him a favor.
Film Freak killed a taxi driver, then broke into STAR
Labs to break out a giant gorilla. |

Catwoman
(Selina) got to Catwoman (Holly) and began breaking
her out. There was little standing in their way -
most of the cops were out chasing down the giant ape
which had been busted loose from STAR. From the rooftop,
they saw the police shooting at the ape. Selina wanted
to help it. She swung down and landed on the beast
as the SWAT team got the order to fire. She was able
to get a canister of knockout gas into its mouth and
leap to safety.
Slam was thrown out of a bar and wandered into an
alley. He thought back on the day he got out of the
hospital. Sam and he discussed Catwoman and the murder
of Black Mask. Film Freak stopped by and made fun
of him before wandering off.
The next morning, Selina, Holly, and Karon discussed
the previous night's events. Realizing all happened
out of movies, Selina knew it was Film Freak's work.
Film Freak scored a bomb. |

Film
Freak took over the airwaves and posed a trivia question.
He said since no one would get the answer correct,
he would just kill everyone. Selina suited up to go
after him. She got to the TV studio in time to see
several ambulances leaving with dead bodies. She notice
one of the studio vans was missing. She hopped on
a motorcycle and found them rather easily. While rambling
on about movies, Film Freak tossed a grenade at the
motorcycle gaining on them.
Film Freak took his new accomplice, a critic, into
a warehouse. Inside was a former astronaut holding
a glowing briefcase.
Karon got the riddle - each of the films he mentioned
ended with a nuclear bomb. Catwoman got onto the roof
of the van as they moved the Uranium-235 into it.
They wheeled the bomb into an old movie theater and
Film Freak murdered the critic. Catwoman told Holly
to get suited up and meet her there. Selina walked
up to the stage as the Film Freak continued on about
his movie. The bomb counted down.
She beat the crap out of him, then began working on
the bomb. Holly arrived in time to see her disable
the bomb. They headed back home where Slam - all bloodied
up - was holding his granddaughter. |

Selina,
Slam, Holly, and Karon sat down for the story. Selina
confessed she'd killed Black Mask. Holly flipped out.
Selina and Sam had begun to train together after he
was removed from the police force. Together, they
shut down dozens of operations under Black Mask's
control. After taking down his right-hand man, Selina
and Sam spent a night together.
Within a week, Dylan (Black Mask's general) was back
on the streets. He kidnapped Sam. He took him to an
isolated apartment building and began beating and
shooting him. He grabbed Sam's cell phone and called
"Selina." Her phone rang as she was checking the results
of a pregnancy test. As she neared the building, it
exploded. Sam (unknown to her) had been able to turn
on a gas stove and throw a lighter into it. She found
him in a nearby body of water. She told him she was
pregnant as he died. |

Calculator to get Holly set up with a new identity.
He set her up - three powered men wanting to join
the Society waited for her to arrive. She took down
the first two, then the third ran. In return for the
favor, Calculator wanted Catwoman to steal him a snow
globe owned by his former boss, Lex Luthor.

A
week later, Selina arrived in Metropolis via train.
She saw Superman make a flyby, which excited all the
people. She got a cheap disguise and took a tour of
the LexCorp building. She quietly snuck away from
the group and changed into her other costume. She
used a teleportation device she'd stolen from Warp
to get into the vault. While inside, she bumped into
herself. After knocking off a giant robot, she found
the snow globe Luthor approached her from behind.
Back in Gotham City, Holly suited up to look for a
missing child.
Boris and Natasha (Hammer and Sickle) headed to Gotham
City to get back at Catwoman. |

She
clawed at Luthor and found him to another robot. After
a brief battle and attempted escape, she bumped into
her past (from a few moments before) self. After a
battle, she finally destroyed the robot and got topside
before it exploded. She knocked a guard out and got
into his uniform. Once outside, Superman interfered.
He checked, and the snow globe was all she had. He
ordered her out of his city and flew off.
She called Calculator to tell him she had the trinket,
but was interrupted by Warp. |
