A
man named Ted Krosby was downsized from Kane's, a retail
store owned by Wayne Enterprises. He visited his mothers
grave and thought he saw a skeleton leaning against
a tree. He was seeing visions of the future. Ted met
a man in a bar and, while drunk, told him about his
clairvoyance. The man convinced him to join his gang.
They began to loot where he saw it to be ok. Batman,
after saving a boy from a burning apartment building,
caught up with them. Batman took Ted down and tied him
up for the police.
A reporter tried to get an interview with Bruce Wayne,
but he refused. Wayne continued to "streamline"
his company into his own vision. Bruce met with his
financial adviser and was hounded again by the reporter. |

Wayne
visited Ted Krosby in prison. Krosby babbled on and
on about vision until the guards removed him. On his
way out, he was cornered by the TV reporter again. He
tried to connect with Bruce by telling him he'd also
lost his parents when he was young. Bruce pushed him
away and left.
Krosby was sprung free while being transferred to Arkham.
He began killing and eating his old gang. That night,
he killed 348 people in the apartment building. The
reporter showed up at Wayne Manor and offered Bruce
his psychiatrist's card. Krosby tracked down his father.
After confronting him, he killed and ate him. As his
father's wife fled the house, she found Batman. Ted
ran back into the house after taking a batarang in the
eye. He cut off his father's face and wore it as a mask.
After a brief fight, Batman left Ted to die. He told
Mrs. Krosby he would inform the police.
Batman returned to Gotham City; Wayne gave the reporter
an interview. |
