Catwoman 37

Storyline: Catwoman broke up a fight between a rich man and the girl he was dumping. She took him and his bodyguards down and gave the girl his stuff to pawn. Holly buzzed her to let her know they saw someone breaking into her own apartment. When she got there, Holly, Karon, Slam, Ted, and Leslie surprised her with a birthday party. Batman showed up and gave her a certificate where money was donated in her name. Slam told her he'd received a job offer out of town and was pondering it.

Storyline: Catwoman tracked Nickel and attacked him with a nail gun and chain saw. He got away after losing an arm and went to his bosses. When he got there, there was a sign up that they'd moved - new location to be announced. He was arrested by GCPD, who was there waiting for him. Slam visited Selina and they talked about it.

Storyline: Catwoman caught the hooker killer in the act. She scared him off and got to the girl before she died. Dr. Thompkins didn't think she had much chance of survival. Ibanescu, a prostitute "importer" looked over his newly arrived stock. Elsewhere, his dog vs. man fights continued. Catwoman met up with Ibanescu and made a deal with him. Slam helped out on the information side. Catwoman caught the killer in the act a second time. Though she was too late to save his victim, she did connect him to the dog fighting.

Storyline: Ibanescu asked questions about the "Alleytown Kids," who'd been causing problems for his business. After taking down some of his men trying to get to the kids, Catwoman showed up at the next man vs. dog battle. She saw her man and swooped down on him. Ibanescu set his dogs loose against them both after shooting his champion in the knee. He was dead in seconds, but Catwoman escaped (none of her blood had been let for them to catch the scent of). She and Slam watched as the police took in Ibanescu.

Storyline: Onyx learned Killer Croc had taken down four of her men. When she got to him, he roughed her up. Batman clued her in on Catwoman's location and the two met up. Catwoman joined her so they could stop Black Mask from taking The Hill and moving on into the East End. They set a trap and he fell right into it. They left him tied up and with a message for Black Mask.

Storyline: Catwoman grounded a man with body armor and a jet pack flying through the East End. Police were on the ground waiting for them when they crashed. She easily evaded them. Hushed watched in amazement. She received a call from Holly when she got back home. She responded quickly and took down Scarface and the Ventriloquist. Hush approached her with an ultimatum. She broke into S.T.A.R. Labs for him and got to the item he requested. On her exit, she ran into difficulties and the container was breached. An unknown gas escaped.

Storyline: The canister Catwoman was attempting to steal from S.T.A.R. was breached and a creature emerged from it. Both it and Catwoman escaped while Hush watched. Catwoman suddenly got sleepy and went home. Sam Bradley, son of Slam, was on the investigation team. They found some goo left over from the monster. Hush got to Catwoman, but she took him down. Behind them, the city was being attacked from above.

Storyline: Selina and Holly kept their eyes open for the inevitable crime wave to strike the East End (Hush told the underground that it was ripe for the taking). Leslie called - she had a kid who'd been frozen. Expecting it to be Mr. Freeze, Catwoman went after the culprit - it turned out to be Captain Cold. He convinced her he was a part of something bigger and tried to get her to join. Faced with the others on his side, she agreed to join. A small time criminal calling himself the Smart Bomb was killed in the interrogation room when he attacked the cops with a torch weapon hidden in his gloves. Slam Bradley agreed to work undercover in the Smart Bomb's outfit.

Storyline: Catwoman took a duo of "supervillains," Hammer and Sickle, in on some young drug lords. Holly heard a rumor that Catwoman was back on the "villain" side. Selina came clean with her on the subject. Dr. Hugo Strange led the Hammer and Sickle on a journey for a book he needed, but they were attacked by Slam Bradley - in full "Smart Bomb" costume. After he took down Hammer, Strange drafted him. Later, Catwoman was approached by a man in the shadows. She spoke with him before going out with Cheetah. Batman took her down and told Catwoman they needed to talk.

Storyline: Catwoman met with Batman in the cave. He tried to get her to watch who she hung out with. She clued him in on what she was up to. Strange and company wondered about the absent Catwoman. One of them recorded her telling Holly she planned to take them all down. While the group watched, he shot her in the stomach and stabbed her in the forehead.
